    Default Random Amazon Refund?

    Hi everyone,

so a couple of weeks ago, I ordered a CD from Amazon. It arrived, and all is good.

Then today, I got an email from Amazon saying that they are giving me some sort of refund for my order, which is weird, since I never returned the CD.

    The email is as follows:
    Hello from Amazon.com.

We're writing to confirm that we have processed your refund for USD
    1.23 for the above-referenced order.

For more information on how we calculate refunds, please visit our
    web site at http://www.amazon.com/refunds

We hope this is a satisfactory resolution for you. However, if you
have any questions or concerns, please use this link to contact
    Customer Service:

Thank you for shopping at Amazon.com.

I checked my Amazon account and I indeed did get this refund. I just don't know why. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thank you.
    Because I'm somewhere in between,
    My love and my agony.

Umm...You got a free CD, so you've got something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.

Possibly some database error. It happens. Fortunately it's not the other kind of error where you can charged for stuff you didn't buy.

By the way, a little bit of a plug for Ebay. Ebay is offering 10% off on every purchase until Nov 30, and I expect there may be another promotion for Christmas. Some nice deals can be had.
What are you fighting for? Just mix them into pissing beef balls, stupid.

I'm sure it's means that the CD you bought got special offer (price reduce) on it and they overcharged you.

Personally, I'd love it if somebody randomly hijacked me and forced me to take a refund for something I didn't buy.

Preferably, it'd be for a house or a car or something.
