Have you seen Slumdog Millionaire?
This movie has received very good reviews. Freida Pinto, the Indian actress in the movie, looks stunning. I want to see this movie. Anybody?

Been hearing lots of good buzz about this movie, which is also directed by the guy who did "Trainspotting" ............ will definitely catch if when the opportunity arise.
"A girl asked me if she should spent money to change the way she look, I told her that she should use it to change her personality instead."
I just came back from seeing this movie and really, you guys have to see it, it's really as good as all the positive buzz you've been hearing.
I heard this movie has already won a bunch of awards and I saw the behind the scenes feature of it on HBO. Looks promising... I think it was Danny Boyle who directed it, the director of Trainspotting, starring Ewan MacGregor (Loved that movie, still hunting for a DVD copy for my collection, anyone?) and The Beach starring leo DiCaprio. his approach is a bit surreal but I think Slumdog is pretty straightforward. Cant wait to see it...
Another director I like, Baz Lurhman (did I spell that right) who directed Moulin Rogue, and Romeo and Juliet (both super great movies) reportedly directed a dud with the big budget film Australia. I dont plame Baz, I totally blame Nicole Kidman and her Botox... hahaha (pardon to all NK fans)
Slumdog Millionaire was awarded four Golden Globes by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Sunday night, including best picture.
I urge everyone to go see this movie, you won't regret it, it's that good. IMO, it's the best movie of the year hands down and this year has been very good already.
I've now become a fan of Danny Boyle. People mostly remember him as the director of Trainspotting (also excellent) and The Beach and forget that he also directed the successful science fiction film 28 Days Later that was quite different from his previous films. He also did a little film called Millions and that one was also highly acclaimed by the critics, but has not garnered as much talk.
Anyway, I can't encourage people enough, go see Slumdog Millionaire if it's showing near you!
Slumdog Millionaire Trailer
I saw Slumdog Millionaire last weekend. I thought it was good.
Superb movie!!! Title Slumdog Millionaire is purely appropriate to tis movie...Anil kapoor and lead roles played by Dev patel and Freida pinto made everyone speechless..
I saw this movie a few days ago and it was one of the best movies of the year. I highly recommend this movie to everyone.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
I heard so much about this that I'm going to see this tomorrow.....I want to see a happy ending for once!
EDIT: So yeah......it was worth the money, except I didn't even pay since I got free tickets. Anyway, it was a great movie. I'm getting it once it comes out on DVD.

This movie really deserves the praise and awards received...
It's really that good...and the acting are superb, especially the child actors, simply brilliant.
When I wake up in the morning I always remind myself to 'Seize the Day.'
He also directed Ewan McGregor in his first ever leading man role in 'Shallow Grave', a brilliantly dark but funny crime-thriller that kickstarted the British film industry and he also made, in my mind, one of the best sci-fi/space movies in recent years called 'Sunshine' (one of the most beautiful films i've ever seen).
Danny Boyle kicks ***!!! I especially love the soundtracks to his movies.
Have you come here to play Jesus?
I watched this a month ago and really enjoyed it. It's funny, sad, smart, and sweet. I hope it does at the Oscars what it did at the Golden Globes.
Slumdog Millionaire is a nice movie. I saw it 2 times. Its a great movie of the year. all characters play their role very well, specially main character Dev patel gave a fantastic performance in this..

Saw it and came away impressed. I never really admired Boyle's camera work, and I still don't, and I felt that certain characters never received their proper justice through the script (nor were some of the acting performances that good), but overall, it was a very nice movie.
Good show...it started out boring but ended electrifying and poigant. sweet.
love the music too:

I never expect that a good-old fashioned love story was at the heart of this film.
Best Picture tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
