A little update from HZY's blog, the actress for XZ. She wrote some stuff that I have no clue.

Pix of her & ZWJ, and some pix apparently with YBH??? Look like YBH was abusing/hitting her? Pix of XZ has a scar on her face. I remember from previous versions (or maybe from the novel too), YBH doesn't like XZ at all, especially in the beginning.

Thanks for the update Tiff! He Zhouyan's picture poses and style of writing really reminds me of a little child. Too "cute" for my liking.

Xiao Zhao's ugly disguise looks pretty good. YBH looks sadistic, poor XZ.

Anw, here's a blog post by a fan who visited the set yesterday. Pics are very blur because no cameras were allowed in the area and she could only snap pics secretly on her mobile phone. Scene filmed is that of ZM threatening to disfigure ZZR's face and ZWJ plus gang appearing to save the latter.

Wow- a slew of nice pictures after a brief CNY break!

The pictures of XZ are very interesting- in particular the first one of her helping ZWJ into his clothes is almost intimate... I wonder if they'll spend a little time elaborating on their relationship!

And definitely XZ's ugly disguise is convincing- though YBH's violence is almost shocking!

Like the Ming sect pictures... particularly the one with Eagle King walking though the door way, light streaming into the darkness- very cool! Mi Jue looks suitably dramatic, though the one with DC learning QKDNY features XZ doing some weird dance??

And gosh, the wedding scene!? Awesome... looking forward very much to pictures of that... can imagine Ady to be good in that scene. (She even looks good in that blurry picture of her in Mongolian garb talking to who I assume to be DC in the ZM-threatens-ZZR-and-ZWJ-comes-to-ZZR's-rescue-at-Wan-An-Temple scene. Like the posture and the fact that she's in her regal Mongolian costume.)

Some people have mentioned that ZZR's wedding gown is a cheap replica of XLN's wedding gown in ROCH'06. I think so too. Liu Jing doesn't look very pretty in this getup but her expressions are pretty good. I cant tell whether she's happy or sad in the first pic but she definitely looks pissed in the 2nd pic. ZM looks sad and confused and ZWJ looks like he's having the time of his life in the last pic

Wedding pictures at last! I like that scene in the various adaptations and was very much looking forward to this!

Liu Jing looks okay in her wedding garb, actually evil looking imo because it is a vermillion rather than deep red color, which is an appropriate look for ZZR.

ZWJ looks also appropriately sombre and almost sad in the first picture with ZZR- and I think that last picture is probably ZWJ welcoming his Wudang Uncles to his wedding. I'd like to believe he wasn't really having the best time of his life at the wedding before ZM arrived....

You know? I just thought of a way for ZJZ to raise money.

I was looking enviously at the extras (all of whom look like ordinary people- likely from You Long) in the picture where they crowd around Ady's ZM, and think that if I lived in You Long, I would happily pay for a costume to be an extra in the series.

Soooo... assuming I'm not unique and You Long has some number of HSDS fanatics, ZJZ should have advertised it as an opportunity for ordinary people to show up on the film... albeit for 1.2 seconds in the background. No garenteed film time of course, just the opportunity to stand there for a few hours in the freezing cold and practice gawking at Ady/DC/some other star...

Assuming, an extra's costume is less than $50 in cost, and you already lived locally, wouldn't you guys go for it??

ZJZ could save some money on costumes and extra's fees... and maybe if the costumes were recycled, he could even make a little money off his large crowd scenes!

(Only thing is that he would have to screen these 'fan-extras' carefully to make sure no one is some lunatic stalker! "Reallyreally I'm not a HSDS stalker!!! Pick me!" )

I'm recalling the sequence of events:

He is reunited with ZM after Snake island right when ZZR and his yifu are taken by the Beggar clan.

When ZWJ rescues ZZR from the beggar clan, he honestly tells her he was with ZM this whole time and even thinks ZM might be innocent of Zhu'er's murder. ZZR gets distraught and ZWJ reinforces his promise to marry her.

ZWJ, heart heavy, wanders off in the night and bumps into ZM at the same tea house he met her after the Wan An temple. Here, he apolegetically tells ZM that he is going to marry ZZR. Hmm... considering he's wearing the same costume for all those pictures, perhaps that's the scene!

I couldn't remember the 2000 & 2003 version on how ZZR find out about ZWJ and ZM hanging out after Snake Island.

I remember from the 1986 version though, when ZWJ went to the Beggar Clan to rescue one of his follower, Ha`n La^m Nhi (I believe he was a historical person too, sorry, don't know the Chinese name for him), and he met ZM, disguised as ZWJ. Then he hang out with her and she followed him back to the inn and ZZR and XX was kidnapped already.

The second time ZWJ came back to save ZZR from the Beggar Clan, ZM didn't go with him, she was injured from one of the Wudang's uncle, and ZWJ pretty much left without her.

And somehow after saving ZZR, after a few days, ZWJ wandering through the night, and he walked to the inn where ZM and him used to drink. Both of them were surpised to see each other. They talk and from various versions, the one with Alyssia, she grab on to ZWJ hand and put it on her face, and ZZR busted in, caught them together

For Kitty and Tony's version, they were just having a drink, then ZZR walked in and started crying and left. ZWJ was about to leave, then ZM called him back, and ask him to come closer and she kissed him on the cheek, then he leave. When ZWJ reach the inn, he said he will marry ZZR.

I couldn't remember what happened with Gigi & Lawrence's version though

For this version, it would be cool if ZZR caught ZM and ZWJ kissing, ahahahahha or hugging or something, something sweet and romantic

Oh yeah, I like your idea of marketing, yanfeng; making money out of the extras. If we live in Long You, we could approach ZJZ and tell him your idea and make commission out of it, by recruiting extras, ahahahaha .

Just got the watch the clip- and Sunnysnow that's awesome! Really like the look of DC fighting... even before they edit and do all the special CGI's to help, it looks like real fighting!

Tifftiff, true, the various versions had different ways in which ZZR found out about how ZWJ had met up with ZM again. According to what's been said, this version is attempting to follow the book closely.

I just checked my book, and in the book, ZWJ tells ZM to forget about him because he already 'belongs' to someone else. ZM touches the scar on his hand where she had bitten him on Snake Island and says "No matter how high your martial arts, how deep your medical skills, you cannot even heal the scar on your hand, much less the scar in my heart." then she leans over and bites him on his lip! Which is when ZWJ hears ZZR by the window shouting at them.

Sooo... Tifftiff, your dream might come true afterall and have ZZR catch them in a 'compromising' situation!
