Sunny and I had the same question on why DC & Ady had such weird posting at the dungeon scene too. I don't recall ZM & ZWJ fight down there, only verbal challenges

Yeah, the pix ZWJ kissing ZZR make me mad too, I want ZM & ZWJ to have a kissing scene too (a lot is fine w/ me too ) . But sunny posted up an article and said Ady said there wouldn't be kissing scene between ZM & ZWJ, maybe on the cheek. I really want the bite on lips like Gigi on Lawrence. It was cool and fun, very flirty too

Yes, sorry I must have missed those discussions, but yes, the dungeon pictures really do make me curious how this version will treat that scene- seems like it'll be quite different from prior versions! ZWJ and ZM do has a bit of a physical tussle down in the dungeon, e.g., in various versions ZWJ grabs ZM's hand and threatens her unless she releases them.

Actually I'm okay with ZWJ kissing ZZR, I do feel quite a bit of sympathy for her, and think she can do with some kisses and hugs... though I also wouldn't mind ZM giving ZWJ some flak for it anyway! But yeah, no kissing between ZWJ and ZM is kind of sad... ZM's always been such a daring character!

O_o That pic of little ZWJ is terrifying! It gives me shudders just looking at the pic! (Maybe because I'm a bit scared of heights myself... )

But I really hope they have some kind of safety net underneath, although from the blog entry it doesn't sound like it? Or maybe it looks a lot scarier than it is? Either way, what a brave little kid, kudos to him. I wouldn't be able to do it even now, never mind when I was 10!

Are you talking about the old chubby man that played as the emperor from Pearl Princess? No, he's not playing Yang Xiao aka Duong Tieu again, he already done his part (badly) in the 2003 version. It's a different actor this version, but in my eyes, this actor is not much better looking as that chubby man. This actor is only tall but I don't see any charming or suave image to him.

I agree that Eddie's one of the best-looking Yang Xiao. I dont think he was that young when he played YX (probably close to Lawrence's age?) but he still looked pretty youthful and suave.

I am pretty disappointed with how the current Yang Xiao looks like, have seen some pics of YX without mustache and all when he's younger and he doesnt look good either. The previous 2 actors who were supposed to play YX are so much better-looking. Am also disappointed with how Yin Li Ting looks like in this adaptation. The actor, Wang Jiu Sheng, looks more suited for a comedic/evil sort of character, partly because im too influenced by his clownish villain role in "Da Tang You Xia Zhuan". I seriously cannot picture sweet-looking Yang Buhui next to him.

Kitty looked very sweet and pretty but i don't think her Mongolian costume looks "tribal" or "royal" enough. Reminded me of Alyssa's Mongolian outfit in the 2003 version which was also cute and pretty-looking but wasn't really "tribal" or stunning enough. I love ZM's mongolian costumes in the 2000 version- it's not accurately mongolian but gave off a tribal/foreign feel and the hairstyles/head accessories added an air of nobility to GG's portrayal.

Don't know whether they're going to give ZM a tribal outfit in this adaptation. They might skip it if its too troublesome or due to a lack of time.

To add on, I think the tribal outfit Kitty wears in post #16 (in the link below) looks nicer than her other tribal outfits (the ones with the flower on her head).

Kitty had 3 tribal outfits in that version, 1 was the yellow/black, in which she wore only once. The other 2 are similar style but different colors. 1 was blue, which she wore to the scene she was about to put mark on ZZR's face. Then that purple flower with orange-ish clothes. When she returned from Snake Island, she wore that same outfit too. Then later changed to Han wear as she was going w/ ZWJ to Shaolin...

Awww, I would love for ZM to have a tribal outfit for this version, at least 1, whether it's accurately looking or not. You can't beat TVB when it comes to outfits, costumes, and hair. No matter how sux their wuxia series nowaday are, their costumes are still the prettiest.

As cool as ZSF should be- he also looks sturdier than prior ZSF's, which means he cuts quite a figure as a fighter and hopefully he'll also be able to do the 'soft' scenes (so far impressed by the picts of him and ZCS's reunion as well as the picts of him teaching ZWJ Taichi!)

It does look like a grand production to me because of the sheer number of people they have in that last picture! I assume the people are the Ming Sect "5 flags" folks- so either its them at Shaolin trying to save Xie Xun (which might explain Song Yuan Qiao's scene with Qing Shu) or else, they're at Wudang and the flags were there to defend against Zhaomin's forces.

I'm really looking forward to his scenes. That actor is also a geniune martial artist and action director, so he should be able to make ZSF's fighting and training scenes look good.
