Hi Sunny, I don't think ZZR can kill ZWJ, her kung fu is not as high as ZWJ, ZWJ might be soft heart again and be injured, but not kill.

Yeah, but remember she sealed ZWJ's accupoints and could easily kill him or at least seriously injure him if she acted swift and with enough force. Nonetheless, I still feel that ZZR would not be able to bring herself to kill ZWJ even if she had the chance. After all, she still loved him. "Trying to lure Zhu'er out" aside, ZZR could have sealed ZWJ's accupoints to prevent him from stopping her if she decided to kill ZM atm (which was what happened in the 2000 version).

Woohu, thank you Sunny for the constant updates!

For the unofficial poster, I wish they would choose a better pix of ZM to be in front, maybe pix of her in her Mongolian clothes would be nice. Well, good thing it's unofficial, let's hope changes will be made soon, for the better . I'm glad they finally set up a site for this adaptation now. From the site, there's a video clip interviewing the actor for XX? Awww, I wouldn't understand what they said anyway.

Wow, lots of pix in the blog. I can't help laughing at ZZR stunt double, that guy looked so funny. Seem like Fan Yao really like his white as snow, furry, super cute dog, he's taking it everywhere, huh?

There seemed to be so much going on at the duel at Shaolin, lots of actors, fans/bystanders, and extras. It must be very cold and rainy, you can see Ady in her bubble jacket, and covering up her hand too. Too bad my internet is slow now, bc some pix are not loading up. The fan blogger is so sweet to pose up pictures for us

Yeah, apparently the blogger is a student who studies near Mt Wuyi and students from his school and other nearby schools have been requested by the HSDS crew to become extras for shooting large scale fight scenes. The blogger also mentions that it was raining the whole day but the actors still had to carry on filming.

Fan Yao's dog is super adorable, I wish I had such a large and huggable dog as well I'm surprised ZZR wears this white-blue outfit to the Shaolin duel, it doesn't look very fight-proof and doesnt make her look "evil" and tough enough. I thought the black outfit she wore when battling the 3 skilled Shaolin monks with ZWJ (earlier at Mt Wudang) was more appropriate.

And yeah, I agree the poster looks really dull, plain and unprofessionally done. I've seen some posters created by fans which look so much nicer! Just hope this is not the official poster- it doesn't look very exciting or HSDS-like. Doesn't even have anything unique or eye-catching to suggest that its HSDS.

Oh yeah, I completely overlooked ZZR's outfit, it doesn't look like she's the leader of Emei, more like some regular girl in a wulin world waiting to get married or something.

Thanks for the updates Sunnysnow, and cool that they have a central site for this one at last! Though I share your feelings about the poster!

Those fan made ones were awesome.. I particularly like the one with the "shan shui hua" (chinese scenic painting) at a backdrop- didn't Yumin say that he wanted the whole series to have that sort of atmosphere?

Also of course love the 2nd poster with the horses (the one without the English title) that you liked too Sunny... definitely a very epic feel to a poster with blurred running horses on it! Also I like it that they have the 'poem' on the front about the heaven sword and dragon sabre... plus it is all in "Fan ti" (olden script), which is I think is aestheticall more pleasing for a poster. I guess it's because Jinyong wrote in Fan ti, even if these days everyone in China uses jian ti (modern/simplified script).

Though I think the one with the large "THE HEAVEN SWORD AND THE DRAGON SABRE" on it shouldn't have had the English words in such a big font (and should have left out both "the"s! okay, okay, I'll quit being so picky!)

Ady's new pict where she appears to be teasing/making sport of ZWJ is very cool... like that expression on her! And, surprisingly, I think ZZR looks good in her shots of her going through the JYBGZ moves.... perhaps she'll be good in the action scenes. Glad to see ZM goes back to wearing her cool black warrior outfit for the fight at Shaolin!

Sunny, I LOVE the 1st poster (and the one you liked too, but it's a bit too simple for my tastes, although I adore the horse scenery) because it looks really professional. The background is so dreamy and looks exactly like paintings from that time era. The only complaint is the roles of credits (the actors on top, then the producers, etc. on bottom). If they could take that out, and add some catchy line to represent the series, it'd be awesome!

Oh, of course, change Ady's picture too. I mean, I love her sharp look in that poster, but I want a picture of her wearing her more extravagant (or appealing) costumes instead!

It's almost too modern a look for a wuxia serial, but nice anyway (maybe Banhtieu you are thinking "flirty" in terms of "sexy", which I think is true... one thing I like about Ady as ZM is that this is her most confident role yet - even Yue Ru was more impulsive/gutsy than regal/confident/powerful, and I think that makes for a very attractive character! )

I like the poster with many characters in it, the ones with horse riding were fine too.

I think the perfect poster should include the 2 weapons, the HSDS maybe crossing each other? Or the weapons should appear on the posters, then maybe a poem about the weapons, the one that ZCS wrote on the mountain? Then have pictures of our main cast. Maybe ZWJ can do his move, ay caramba, I forgot the Chinese name for it again, the kung fu from the Ming Sect, or Taiji moves if he want. Then next to him should be ZM, doesn't matter on the left or right side, in her tribal outfit, holding a sword/weapon from her tribe, looking arrogant or cunning, or flirty, or mean, doesn't matter . Then there should be ZZR showing off her 9 Yin Claws. Then somewhere in the poster, there should be a little spot for ZWJ's parents, and XX too
