ashmm: guo jing told genghis khan of his true feelings for hwang rong. hwa jeng was heartbroken, and she demonstrated her bratty ways in attempt to let guo jing stay by her side. but that in the end somewhat resulted in the death of guo jing's mom. she felt very guilty abt it and finally decided to let go of guo jing with the help of her 4th brother tuo lui.
babyblues: you must be referring to return of the condor heroes 95. that's different from this series

This topic is about LOCH staring Julian (GJ) and Athena Chu(HR). Louis Koo(YG) and Carman(XLN) stars in ROCH.

i knew she wouldnt let it rest so easily...hahaha.... i think athena chu is much prettier than zhou xun in the new legend of the condor heroes 2006... although i think its called legend of the arching heroes.... but acting wise....i'm not sure...havent seen zhou xun yet... how did guo jing's mum diee??

Genghis Khan gave Guo Jing and two of his sons sealed pouches with instructions inside. They are instructed not to open them until the day of battle. Guo Jing returns to his mom's tent to tell her what he was told. She becomes curious about what is inside, saying that she will open it and then sew it back later, without anyone knowing. It turns out that Guo Jing must help them conquer the Song people or else he and his mother will not have a happy ending. They decide its in their best interest to leave.

Guo Jing says he has to pack and will come back when he's done. Soon after, he is sent for by Genghis Khan. They know that he has opened it and will now be punished. Guo Jing is also asked if he will help them. He refuses to, but then his mom is brought in. She then tells Genghis Khan that she will persuade him.

She then tells him that she didn't raise him to be a person who doesn't know right from wrong etc (unlike Yeung Hong), and that she can't be with him any longer. She then takes his dagger and kills herself (to keep him from having to worry about her safebeing)

Hwa Jeng was the one that told Genghis Khan that GJ and his mother were leaving.

miu chew feng died. killed by...eh....if im not mistaken by yang kang
yang kang and mu nien ci didn't actually marry. they just did what's to be done after marriage in that cave (you get what i mean ) and they produced yang guo

I'm currently rewatching this ROCH 95 and I must say, the acting in here makes me gringe ..... so aweful

HR, GJ, and YG are all so bad...
