Her youtube videos caught the attention of Korea and UK. Then she appeared in the Ellen Degeneres show, Oprah Winfray and now works with David Foster. This pint-sized Filipino diva has a powerful vocal instrument and an incredible singing prowess.

What do you forumers think of this Asian's chances of succeeding in the US and internationally?

I think she will be fine. With her talent plus David Foster and Oprah Winfrey backing her up.

I had read some articles that Charice will debut her US album until she's 18 according to Mr. David Foster. She's turning 17 this year.

Charice's voice is somewhere between Whitney and Mariah. She has to develop her own voice that people can quickly recognize that's hers. Contrary to what other people are saying, she does not sing better than Whitney.
