Jackie Chan in Karate Kid Remake

Jackie Chan will play the Mr. Miyagi equivilant in the Asia-set remake of “The Karate Kid,” the one with Will Smith’s son Jaden in the title role.

LOL, I thought Jackie Chan is Kung Fu guy instead of Karate guy and this one is to be set in Beijing

At the end of the movie, Dre Parker's opponents all cupped their fists to Mr. Han and said 'Shifu', and then the camera panned to Master Li to show his upset look. Does that mean those kids wanted to take Mr. Han as their Shifu? Is it that easy to change one's master?

i think u were watching the censored version.

anyways i just saw this film (censored version), but i read about the cut scenes. the movie is decent, but a little long.

Not really. I like the ending where he conceded defeat like a gentleman and congratulated Jaden's character for his victory. In the previous Karate Kid movie in the 1980s, the Japanese opponent wasn't such a gentleman.
