Disastrous Weather

How is the weather in your area? I'm so frustrated right now, because it seems like there is weather problem everywhere across the country. I've been snowbound in Chicago for the last 6 hours, and still counting.

Are you experiencing severe weather conditions in your area as well?

The news mentioned that it's snowing in vegas.

as for my area, we got snowed on last night and i had the task of shoveling snow from our sidewalks this morning. not something i wanted to do right when i woke up. and i hear we're going to be getting a huge snow storm. i need to move down south or something.

We’ve had dry powdery snow blowing about here for 3 days. Dry powdery snow means really cold! Our daytime highs are -10 to -20°C below normal and it’s not going to improve for the next week!

so i just heard that we're getting 6 to 9 inches of snow tomorrow with a wind chill of about -25... i guess i won't be leaving my house tomorrow.

Well it's not exactly Hawaii here in Paris, but no major precipitation and it could definitely be colder. Back in Toronto though, I'm sure the weather is shitty.

As long as you don't drive 5-10 mph then I'm happy. Otherwise, it sucks to be on the road!

The weather here in Mississauga (Toronto) is normal. We are having snow regularly but that is what we suppose to get in the winter. So far, things are great. The weather is way better than last year. It's warmer with less snow. Nothing to complain.

If the trip wasn't cancelled, I'd have been frozing like a chill monkey in Alps for the past few days. Alas! That didn't happen. I'd empty my fridge and stay in there for a few nights.

We had freezing rain couple days ago and last night, whatever left re-froze again...and we'll get more freezing rain tonight....what a mess.

I took my garbage out that morning and I was literally sliding through my driveway, dragging my garbage behind me and praying I could stop before I made it to my accross the street neighbor's yard. Luckily my foot got stuck on pavement, so I was saved

The weather in my neck of the woods is like spring, but raining. All week the temp was in the 60's, even as high as 70 degrees. Very unusual weather for December.
