for me, I love Myolie more... She acts much better than Michelle... Michelle sometimes overacts. Also, Myolie's improvement is much more noticeable than Michelle's.

Hehehe, glad to see that this topic is up and active without any fight. Well I have to say, if Myolie continues to improve more and more, she will diffinately be one of TVB's top actresses. Michelle has potiental, but there really isn't much improvment on her part. At least big noticable improvement that is. Its quite interesting how Michelle Yip is always the first person to compare against Myolie with. Don't you think so?

Maybe it's because of the love triangle in Eternal Happiness that makes them compare...Anyway, Michelle doesn't show much big improvement..but Myolie had to act in several series to make herself in big improvments...Michelle doesn't really have enough series. But because of the rumuors, TVB wouldn't give her any new series..sad sad. Anyway, back to Myolie lol! I don't have much to say about her though!

Hey Greenie!! Hmmmm....maybe, maybe. I guess that would be a real good guess. Maybe it also could have something to do with Raymond Lam also. Cause it seems like both of them have been paired up with him for several serise together as couples or somethign else.

It seems like when Myolie first appeared on screen she really wasn't that great and got lots of critisims. It took her like 3 or 4 series before people started to except her and see her improvments. She did really work hard to improve and now is a real good actress to me.

I actually feel that Michelle has a good amount of series not mentioning how in several of them she has gotten the main lead or has been one of the main leads. Her acting is just there and there, but seems like lots of people see much potiential in her.

Hello goddess jai!! Yeah, I see the work Myolie has to go through to improve and get the fame she deserves now. I guess they see Michelle's potential because she started out with good acting (except Street Fighters and Reaching Out), but didn't improve very much. I think another reason is that Michelle looks prettier than Myolie..but I think acting is what that counts

In the past, I think Michelle's prettier too... but since that Myolie's becoming prettier and prettier, I think Myolie's better now... (partly because that I saw Myolie) Her body shape is much better than Michelle (taller and slimmer)

Hmmmm....I don't know about that. My first series with Michelle was "Gods of Honour" I think and she did okay in there. Hmmmm...I felt that when she first appeared in series, her acting was like many others, bad and needed improvment. She has however improved, but her acting has stayed the same now with not much improvement. At least very noticable improvment.

Well when Michelle first appeared on screen I would say I thought she was rather pretty and all, but when I first saw Myolie, I felt striaght away attracted to her and her acting. I thought from the very beginning Myolie was already a good actress with much potiential. She just needed time and exception from the viewers

I think Myolie looks nice if she wants to, even though she doesn't thrive to look nice at all points. I first saw Michelle in Street Fighters, though I don't remember her in there..and then Reaching out..her acting was okay...She does not have much improvements, and I don't think people would think Michelles acting is better anymore?

I think Michelle does improve a lot its just that shes not given the roles to show that she does. Myloie has been given many different roles that shows she has improved, but Michelle really has been given the same role over and over again. If michelle was given a mentally challanged girl like Myloie was in GF then I think she would play the role just as good as Myloie.

Well actually, we wouldn't know if Michelle good be just as good if she was given a mentally challenged role. So...I don't think we could have opinions on that if she didn't get a role like that. But it's true that Michelle has those same roles, and I don't think she could act like a weak girl at all..like In Gods of Honour, she wasn't good as the weak girl. I don't know about now though...

I do want to clarify as well as give an apology to lastday because in most of the forums I go to and read a message like what you posted at first the arguement tends to get real intense as I'm sure we've or some of us might have seen. Yeah I do agree that Myolie has gotten more of a diverse set of roles to protray where Michelle has quite similar ones. Either she plays a soft, sweet, "weak", and etc type of character or she will be a strong, independant, sweet/sour, and etc type of character. Mainly that is what I've seen her protray. Then again aren't most characters divided up into those similiar categories? Sorta in a way eh?

I'm just a little curious with this LastDay. Why are you curious with how Michelle might have protrayed the character of which Myolie protrayed in Golden Faith. ( A Mentally disabled Girl? ) Is it because that role is the one which supposedly brought viewers to say that Myolie has improved? Or is it just cause that role is a little different from other roles?

Hmm..anyway! I'm no good at joining fan clubs...I just support people emotionally (or something like that lol). I don't really need a cup with her picture on it LOL I'm j/k, well, yeah, Michelle basically has the same roles...and I think it's all in a category. I'm not sure if she will be better as the "weak" girl, because I don't know...but anyway, back to Myolie!

I can't wait to see her website, since Myolie is now one of my favorite actress (though not really at the top of my list) and so yeah..I don't have anything to say...haha latta!

You know, seems like in the beginning when Myolie started out she got more of the weak characters and all, but now she is beginning to get noticed and get more "strong" roles and all.

Yup, Colouful Life and Eternal Happiness weren't exactly considered her "best" series. I think the turning point for her was probably "Doomed to Oblivion" at least the turning point in recieveing a rather new role. Then the series where her acting got better is between "Family Man" and "Golden Faith." Now she is doing excellent in everything in my own opoinion that is!!!! Where is everyone else? Come out Myolie fans and join in with the chats. Also if anyone is intersted in joining the Myolie fan club then please please please speak up!!!! I've been told that you will recieve a autograph picture of Myolie, birthday cards/christmas cards, and etc from Myolie if you join in!!! Sooooo exciting!!!!!

Yeah, I agree, although she did improve in Family Man, I find her character very annoying! She unreasonable, in the way (even though I don't like Sonija and Michael together... ), and I just don't like it. Her hair is kind of weird there also, hehe. Man, I think they don't give her enough scenes in Golden Faith . Wow, the fan club sounds exciting hehe...is it real christmas cards that she writes? Because that would be too tiring lol...

I know what you mean. Her character in Family Man did annoy me in some ways, but then in other points she was rather cute you know? hehe, guess it depends on the scene. Yeah, I would have enjoyed more scenes of her in Golden Faith. She was so cute!!! I really enjoyed watchign her and seeing how she became more dependant on herself and all!!! I'm not quite sure on the christmas cards, it could be that she does write them all...I'll ask on that Hehe, it does sound real exciting, can't wait for it to get started

Yep, she's really cute!! And she made me cry (I cry too easily though) when she was wondering where Paul Chun went...soo sad! And I like the heart in her room..and I see that heart in Chin Ka Lok's room from Life Begins at Fourty..haha, they used the same one Don't know why I notice those things. It could be that she writes it, but if she does write it, I'd feel sorry for her..because wouldn't that be a lot? Thanks for asking, hehe.

I know, her character was so lovable in Golden Faith. Most memorable scenes would be when she started missing her father and was wondering where he went nad was hugging onto that papa bear that Paul gave her Then I remember there was this other scene that Raymond brought Gallen and the rest of the family out to a attornies office and claimed that his father's will is not right. Raymond and the rest were sitting on oneside while Gallen was by himself on the other side. So Myolie stood up and was going to go sit with Gallen, but was pulled back You could see the look of saddness and dissapointment in her face.
