Yeah, she definitely did her homework! She just looks so cute in there! I like her more in modern series than ancient ones..but she didn't seem to be in ancient series for some time...

I like her in both. She is great in ancient or modern, either is pretty good. Seems like Myolie started out doing a lot of ancient series, but now she is doing a lot more modern ones. Not a lot of ancient ones with her in it and doens't seem as though she will appear in a ancient one for awhile. I think that Doomed to Oblivion was her last ancient apperence.

Gosh, I adore her in Survivor's Law!!!!!! She does indeed look very mature and businesswomen like, but at certain angles the hair really does not go with her. She looks so pretty in there too don't you think? Her outfits are so cute!!!!

[Ming Pao]

Myolie Wu has recently signed as spokesperson for a skincare brand for a seven-figure sum and has had to soak underwater for twenty four hours whilst filming an advert.

The company used another seven figure sum for the production of the TV and billboard advert that took place underwater that was quite a challenge for Myolie who is afraid of water and doesn't know how to swim. However the production crew had all the safety measures in place and Myolie underwent some special training the week before from members of the team from the Asian Games synchronised swimming team to ensure the smooth running of the filming and the required results. Myolie was quite nervous during filming, unable to grasp the floating technique, making her swallow water and at one point almost drowning due to cramp. Luckily under the instruction of her coach, she finally mastered it and could open her eyes underwater and smile sweetly. Although she was under water for almost 24 hours, she has no complaints.

i'm not really a fan of myolie but shes come a long way.
at the moment the shortness of her hair makes her look more sophisticated better than her hairstyle in Family Man (she looked weird) and Golden Faith (too childish).

Myolie Wu was earlier linked with Tse Kwan Ho because she was filming with him and also rumoured to have commented on Rain Li being 'not good enough' but when they all appeared at yesterday's blessing ceremony for "Choi Hung Kiu" (Rainbow Bridge), Rain and Myolie were chatting and laughing and Myolie and Tse Kwan Ho were not avoiding each other. In response, she said: "Don't be silly, not talking to a guy is taken as avoidance, not talking to a girl is taken as disrespecting her, none of this happened at all." Tse Kwan Ho said: "There was no such thing, they just made it all up and my wife has total confidence in me!" Later they openly had their photo taken together.

As for Rain, she continued to deny that she was dating former member of VRF Ting Chi Go and when it was mentioned that Alex Fong (Lik Sang) was very concerned with her relationship, Rain laughed: "He is like the motto for TVB's news - concerned with everything! Like I am with him, we are all just good friends."

Myolie Wu appeared in a light green dress at a promotional event for her sponsor's beauty product as the company's chief executive flew in especially from Italy to watch the premiere of her television ad that is part of her six-figure deal. The next ad will be filmed in Italy because this one has done so well. Recently Myolie has been busy filming for series "Choi Hung Kiu" (Rainbow Bridge) and she laughs that she is not trying to hard sell her product, but with two whole weeks of having just two hours sleep every night, her skin is still looking fine and she is planning on promoting the product to her colleagues.

As for her new show "Chung Seung Wan Siu" (Triumph in the Skies) that is due to begin airing soon, she is very happy about it and feels that she is starting to reap some of the rewards to her previous hard work. She also hopes that she will gain an award at the TVB anniversary celebrations. When asked if she is confident about gaining the top female role, she says she will think about this later because after all it is down to the recognition from other people.

TVB's new series "Triumph in the Skies" (Chung Seung Wan Siu) offers the attraction of a uniform as it creates many dashing airline pilots! Donning the pilot's uniforms are Francis Ng and Joe Ma and together with the new recruits Ron Ng, Sammul Chan and Kenneth Ma, there is certainly a fine collection of handsome pilots to send you into the clouds; together with Shek Sau who is improving with age playing Francis and Ron's good looking chef, then we have three generations together to complement the beautiful glare from the ladies in the show.

Collecting together love, family, friendship and encouragement in one show, "Triumph" has something for everyone. Francis, Joe and Flora Chan find themselves in a two man one woman triangular affair and forms the main storyline. The attraction of the Best Actor Winner Francis is so great, so how could TVB treat him badly on his return? Creating a co-pilot who is totally devoted to Flora, but is also the target of 'youngster' Myolie Wu's secret affections and all over object of many desires and oozing with charisma! Sammul Chan is the most outstanding out of the newcomers as he is well suited to his rich boy image. His love line crosses with Michelle Ye as they face challenges together with other young enterprising air service personnel.

The story tells of how Tong Yik Sam (Francis Ng) and Ling Wan Chi (Joe Ma) are determined to become the first Chinese airline captains and they strive towards their goal. One is faithful with his love and the other is the flirtatious pilot, but they both fall in love with Lok Yi Shan (Flora Chan) at the same time, whereas So Yi (Myolie Wu) who works at the airline authority is a secret admirer of Sam. On the other hand, a group of newly recruited trainees are sent to Australia to undergo training and their many experiences lead them to focus their determination and become superior pilots.

Michelle Ye and Myolie Wu were room mates whilst filming for "Triumph" in Japan last year and thus became good friends. Yesterday they took part in the premiere event and were often hugging each other, then after watching the first airing, they were so emotional and nearly crying; this was because the filming process was both hard work, but very happy and Michelle is pleased that there were no rumours saying that she did not get on with Myolie this time.

In the show, Myolie marries Francis and Michelle is the bridesmaid and in real life, Michelle would like to be Myolie's bridesmaid, however Myolie says she has no plans to get married so soon, laughing that it is Michelle who wants to get married. Michelle immediately responds: "I don't even have a partner at the oment, she should be married sooner than me because she is always thinking about dating." When the reporters accused her of revealing her good friend's secrets, Michelle laughed that she was talking about her character in the show because he is always busy flying the plane and Myolie is always busy thinking about her love affairs. As Michelle is playing Hong Kong's first female pilot, she reveals that she has got to know the real pilot Candy and they have become good friends, gaining some tips along the way. The only difference is that the real female pilots are not allowed to wear high heeled shoes, but because she is vain, Michelle is wearing high heels in her performance.

Also, with Myolie gaining the "Most Improved Female Artiste" award last year and competing for "My Favourite Female Lead Role" this year, she feels that she does not yet have the experience to win this award and is looking to lose out, she will try again in the years to come and her personal favourite to win is Maggie Cheung.
