Yes, you, TC, the great Canadian, knows everything about everything.

How the F do you know Obama isn't patriotic to his country. Give some examples.

I would say that you and GWB are made for each other. So I guess that makes you as patriotic an American as GWB was, and just as smart too.

How do you judge their patriotic level? By seeing who's more of a warmonger? If so, then Bush is definitely more patriotic while Obama must be a traitor.

Sorry but you just said does not even make sense.... Plus, you are not even a US citizen...How would you now for sure who is more patriotic and how is less patriotic? How do you measure or judge that???

Well now….Mr O. is considering an amnesty for the millions of ‘illegals’ knowing full well that they would likely vote Democratic for many elections to come. Nancy P. must be positively orgasmic at the prospect.

You don't need to be a citizen to know who is patriotic and who isn't.

Not implying TC knows but I don't see how being a citizen may say much. I can say Japs are very patriotic, example kamikazi.

I know that you don't need to be citizen but that still does not imply what he said actually makes sense.

There are patriots, and there are jingoist. Radical conservatives like TC and JamesG might not see the distinction, but the fact is that we're now living in a world full of nuances.

As for the proposed amnesty, what the detractors can't seem to grasp is the reality of the situation, but instead opt for some knee-jerk ideological head-in-the-sand reaction. The reality of the immigration issue is that these people have already been here for years with family and children and have been utilizing many public services such as school or medical care at the ER. So instead of a massive and costly effort of tracking down, arresting and then arranging for the deportation of hundreds of thousands of them (leaving aside the issue of what to do about their children who were born in the US) back to their countries of origin ............. a more pragmatic approach would to recognize their circumstances and develop mechanism for them to join the US so that they could shoulder their cost for the utilization of public services.

Conservatives *****ed for years that illegals don't pay taxes and are filling up the schools and ER, now here a way to address that but they apparently developed amnesia and are now just saying no because the truth is that they don't have any damn idea. Somehow, I can't muster enough outrage about the fact that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants and their employers will now have to pay into payroll and income and other assorted taxes just like the rest of us.

This thread seems to have dropped off the radar for a while. Whar are your thoughts about ‘mister transparency’ now? Are you ready to be taxed on everything the folks in Washington can justify as being for a ‘good’ purpose?

The 'Master of Spin', the Houdini of 'verbal slight-of-hand' speaks in a few minutes. Will he claim to have saved the economy? Will he castigate the GOP for obstructing health care reform and ignore the Democrats who are just as dubious of the House plan? All will be revealed in mere minutes.

He bobbed, he weaved, he ducked, he jived........what a dancer!

Have you guys been reading the news lately? Recent news just came out that poll statistic shown that more and more Americans are loosing hope on Obama right now. It started after his "Healthcare" plan, in some places people are protesting about this.

How about let talk about what is going on right now. Do you guys support Obama's Healthcare plan or not? Opinions?

He was stepping into a pile of sith. There was no chance that he could somehow magically turn the economy around. For the hand he was dealt, I think he’s done fine so far.

I don’t think it’s time for the Healthcare Plan initiative yet when the economy is still in deep sith. He’s gotta shore up the economy first. I also don’t like the cash-for-clunkers program. Even if we, the US, save on energy, other countries will still use anything we save, and energy prices will still rise. The long term solution to an energy crisis is to develop alternative energies on a massive scale. But many Republicans will not agree to infrastructure spending because it’s going to mean higher spending and taxes. The common good has never been a strong suit of the rightwing party.

Face the facts: President Obama is a left-wing radical who advised the US to judge him by the people he surrounded himself with. Check out the backgrounds of his ‘Czars’ and judge for yourself

Did he actually say that? Or are you making things up through assumption?

It’s funny that the people on the far right accuse him of being a radical lefty. The people on the actual far left charge that he’s NOT left enough. Come on, the guy is a center left President, not a commy or whatever pejorative term you wanna call him to make your facist minds feel better.

To be clear… the point of the last sentence segment is to do to you what you did to him.

Ever the youthful idealist. I suggested checking out the backgrounds of his 'Czars' and judging for yourself. If you don't find any radicals in that group, you either don't care, or feel more comfortable with your head in the sand and your ideals intact.

It's hard to take the comments about Obama and radical leftwing socialists from a Canadian seriously given that the thrust of the Obama healthcare reform is to try to make the US system more like the Canadian system.

    Is irony dead in Canada?
