A bullet and a warning letter aimed at the Hong Kong pop star at the centre of a sex photos scandal has been sent in the post from the United States to a local TV station, police said today.

The letter, written in English, warned singer-actor Edison Chen to disappear from public life and said it was a final warning to him to take his personal safety seriously.

It may be serious, since I don't know that many people who would be willing to joke about something like this.

To be honest - I think Edison Chen is getting too much bad rep for this whole thing. While people may have different opinions on sex and sex-related things, what he did himself was not "wrong" per se, assuming that the sex and taking pictures were consensual. He took pictures for himself, not for the public to see. This may not be certain people's cup of tea, but it's not really "wrong."

Yes - it may have been a good idea to have deleted or transferred them before he sent in his laptop for repair, but then again, whn you sent in your laptop to be repaired, you don't expet people to go through your personal files and distribute them over the Internet.

Oh my gosh, someone actually did that??? I think he needs to take it seriously just in case it really is a real threat. It is better to be safe rather than sorry. I think Edison should have been more careful since everything is digital now, not like in the past. Maybe it is karma, who knows?? But I don't think he deserves to die over something like this.. but don't forget that those girls all consented to the photos. and he did say that some of the girls even started the idea. at this point in time all of them ESPECIALLY gillian will say anything to save their own butts. for me i have to keep in my head that edison isn't interested in coming back into the entertainment business, so he has no reason to lie. as for gillian, she just started her comeback. the poor girl is going to lie and say anything to get the public's sympathy. if i had to choose who to believe right now i'm going with edison's words.
