    Default Motown

Is anyone here a fan of Motown artists?

Myself, I absolutely adore the music coming from Motown. Motown isn't just a record label that put out very beautiful and memorable music, but also represents an advancement for African-American artists to cross-over to the mainstream "back in the days." I have a lot of respect for Motown and its artists, such as Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Jimmy Ruffin, etc.

What about you? Anyone here also like the Motown sound?

    FAN!

The Supremes ran off a string of hit singles in the mid-1960s that were matched only by the Beatles.

I like Marvin Gaye. What's Going On is one of my favorite Motown albums.

Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."
