OK...so what happened on Saturday?

Saturday, April 4, 2009 basically didn't happen for the SPCNET Forums (talk about your "lost weekends"). What happened?

Detective rC reckons that, SPCNET has become a specific victim of the syndicate of hackers and their alliances (whatever you call them).

Remember lately they have guest appearances as Spambots introducing some free websites for downloads/sales?

We should stand together and kick the arses of those sons of a gun!

I had a very frustrating day in which i can see the main index for the forum but unable to access any of the sub-forums.

Anyone have the same problem?

I couldn't access any of the forum sections, user profiles or social groups. I managed to access my control panel but nothing more.

Whenever I tried accessing a page it takes me to an error page like the one below.

I could only see the Main Index page but couldn't access the sub-forums or any threads at all! NOT HAPPY JAN.

This happened all of today up until a few minutes ago. Was the only one who had trouble today?

Han, Bubbles and Sourplum, I had the same problem too! I tried the backdoor, frontdoor, windows....but all to no avail. I tried to view the Who's online list to determine if I'm the only unfortunate one, now i guess, I'm not.

I had the same problem. It was frustrating (indicating how addicted we are to the forum ).

Yes. Including the threads and posts people made. There were no new posts when I clicked on new posts. User CP, I went there and couldn't get farther than that.

Whatever bug it was, it seems to be gone now.

Don't you mods have like a direct line to spc? Something like the "Bat Phone" or something?(her email) So that you may contact her in situations like yesterday.

Yes, but we still have to wait around for her to reply. And she does have a life outside of SPCNET, so she's not waiting around to get a "call" from us.

You didn't try the attic did you? I did and got as far as the skylight controls in the master bathroom, then I got "page can't be shown" like Bubblegum kept getting.

I have! Alas! The indiana jones stunt didn't work out for me. I fell and broke my arm then I read "page cannot be displayed".
