"Wall of Sound" producer Phil Spector convicted of second-degree murder in Southern Califonia.

During the 1960s, Spector produced numerous hit records for artists such as the Ronettes (whose lead singer Veronica Bennett he married), Ike and Tina Turner, and the Beatles (LET IT BE). His record production work during the 1960s and 1970s was highly influential on the sound of pop and rock music during that era.
