    Default Songs That Express Your Current State

    Here's a thread to post music videos of songs expressing or representing your current (emotional/mental as in what you're thinking not the crazy kind of mental) state. I actually think this little exercise will be cathartic as music always helps. It's almost like the "What songs are you listening now" thread, except posting these links to music videos or title of songs have a specific purpose. The lyrics of the song or perhaps just the wordless music expresses just what you're feeling now without having to say much yourself. Let the song and music speak on your behalf.

    This thread might serve another purpose to introduce you to some new songs you didn't know of or normally wouldn't hear because of some reason or another. Whatever that reason may be. These selections turn out better than I expected. The first two songs are songs I've heard for the first time because I just youtubed it and somehow, it works well.

    I posted Kelly's song before, but it still relevant with the moment. The narrative of the music videos is relatable, and the lyrics too. The songs may seem sad at some point, but in the end hope remains.

    Life is about finding yourself and creating yourself. Everyone (youth, young adult, adults) struggles with self-awareness and realizing their true self. As Shakespeare says, "Be true to thine self". It's an endless journey really to understand and better your relationship with yourself and with others. This song has always been inspiring and a reminder to embrace your true self and be fully aware of things in life.

    BTW, Christina was so young when she first started singing. What a bad hairdo! She must cringe whenever she sees this hairdo.
