Haha that is commendable aliderhamy. If I weren't in medical school, this alone would get me started again. Unfortunately time is the one thing I don't have anymore I hope your dream comes true too

I have a question, if you please.
I see right now two novels by Huang Yi are being translated: Tang Dynasty Two Dragons, and Legend of the Longsword Master.
How long are these novels, in books and chapters? I remember Step in the Past was quite a big work, 25 books, each one having 15 to 20 chapters. Are these novels about the same?

Hey Neneroi,
Tang Dynasty is Huang Yi's largest work at approximately 6.6 million characters.
Longsword master has about 5 million characters
Step in the past has around 3 million characters
You can blame me for starting and not finishing two of the longer ones (oops)

WHOA!
So both Da Tang and Longsword Master are way longer, and one of them almost two times as long as Step in the Past??
Thanks for the info... it's two big projects you got there...

Not exactly, Da Tang is 63 books and Grand/Long sword master is 12 books, sword master is not a long story on Huang Yi's story.
Searching for Qin is 25 books. In his prime time, Huang published 1 book a month, each around 100,000 character, so give or take, Da Tang is around 6.3 million character, and I would be surprise if it was 6.5 million character, but in no way grand/long sword master is 5 million character, I would say Searching for Qin is around 2.5 million and Sword master 1.3 million, and Qin is about 2 times of Sword and not the other way around.
What a pity Sword Master was not continued, we have just start to taste the strange land and it is not there.
Sorry for typo, I meant to say I won't be suprise if it was 6.5 million character.
