My iPod will not function any more. It is stuck trying to boot, but resets itself before finishing booting.

Is this a bad iPod day for SPCNET members?

You want to leave a place because you want to stop feeling bad about the many times when you couldn't be much of a help. I hate that feeling. So I'm done!

It's way too frigging hot in Indiana! This is the place that snows like a b_tch in January, which I don't mind as much. Why is it 90 degrees now?! It is 15 - 20 degrees hotter than LA today.

I had the strangest dream while napping. I dreamed my maternal granmama said laughingly to me, "Well, you finally decided to come back home after goofing off for so many years BeBe?" She passed away 44 years ago. How strange. I don't even know what she looks like, but I knew the lady that was talkin' to me was her.

I told the MoM and she said, "I've been wanting to say that to you for so long, but I see my mother has. That's what you get."

    LoL, what the heck?

I love sleeping. It trumps eating for me. Unfortunately, I gain and lose weight almost solely on how much sleep I get or don't get. If I want to lose weight, then I need to cut out napping. Why is life so cruel?

On a happier note, my friend just welcomed his first child into the world! A little girl named Joranai Ariya. Joranai means "a brilliant and perfect precious gem" in Khmer. Ariya means "great or noble truth" in Sanskrit. How come I didn't get a cool name like this?

It's pronounced chaw-ruh-nai and ah-REE-yah. Don't forget to roll the "rrr" sounds.

Just found out that my manager (26) has been maintaining an affair with one of my coworkers (19) since Nov. (while his wife was preggars ), and she might have been pregnant with his child at some point. His wife is a nice lady and their son is so cute! I feel bad for them.

I wonder if other work places are as scandalous as mine. I always discover some sort of affair going on every couple of months.

Oh crap! How do I get out of this vicious cycle? For three weeks, I've been sleeping late and waking up late. Need to break the freaking cycle.

That's so tragic...but I'll be honest, my first reaction was Well, my mom had a worker that has two wives and the wives are biological sisters. Hm, oh and some other dude wanted to rent one of our duplexes for himself, his big wife, his first little wife, and his second [3rd??] little wife to all stay in termporarily while he renovated his home. It was a huge expansion project because he has too many wives...

The MoM ended up firing the first family [too much drama] and refused to rent out to the second family to avoid any drama with the neighbors [our renters too] LoL. It was a wise decision, and I'm happy to have been a part of it. I'm a terrible human being, what can I say...

My oldest one (I own three) started demonstrating problems with the sound on the left speaker in my car, but I don't know if it's the iPod unit itself, the connector cable, or the car's speaker.

Doesn't anyone else value the movie theater experience??? I love watching movies...but have just been accused of not trying anything new. It's not just the movies, it's the entire experience of the theater, medium popcorn, small coke, and well the whole shebang. I've even gone alone!

I love watching movies on my giant flat screen w/surround sound too...not quite the same, but if you wanna hang out punk...don't bash my homebody tendencies and learn to love a nice quiet night with an espionage thriller and warm soft body next to you.

...swear these modern new age boys... not as profound as you think you are....

I'll spring for the big screen and surround-sound, but there's no way in hell I'm buying that overpriced cinema food.

Besides, when I watch a movie, I really want to WATCH it, and food and drinks are a distraction.

That reminds me of what happened back in my ex-workplace, where my boss had an affair with his maid and brought her into our office later on. And how I agreed to become Boss's wife's "spy". The wife is a genuinely nice lady too, and her career is doing better than my boss in the neighbouring country. She always spare thoughts for her husband while he is a selfish bum. They have two young children, a girl 4 and a boy 3.

The B-word is often used to insult women. Is there a counterpart for the males?

"Bastard" don't count, since it can be referred to both genders.
