@ Kay: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, WOMAN?! And have you finalized the decision to visit me come winter?

Is that a Mulberry skylee? I swear, after a while, all these brand name bags start looking the same.

Diorshow is a mascara I keep picking up and putting back down. I think the brush makes for a very easy application, but the formulation seems to produce the same effect as my waterproof Loreal Voluminous, which I LOVE, and it's only a fraction of the price. I wonder if the brush justifies the price difference? BTW, you mentioned Shu Uemura last time and I forgot to comment. Their Basic Black mascara is my favorite! Used alone, it makes for a very bright and natural look, but use it as a base in conjunction with a thick, volumizing mascara and you'll have Bambi lashes that'll last all day. I have noticed, though, that the recent formulation is a little more drying than it had been in the past. Do you still use it?

No, it's a Miu Miu VitelloLux. But it does seem like every handbag is "inspired" by one or another (most likely more expensive brand) nowadays.

Tonight is Halloween, the last day in October. 1 year ago on this day, I joked about not coming back alive from some demon summoning ritual. Before I even got there I got hit by a car.

1 year later, I'm still affected by the consequences, my shoulder is still weak with loose cartilege and ligaments. Also, made me realise I've been here for a year now. Time sure flies.

The Shu Uemura Basic Black used to my staple mascara. I used to use it in conjunction with Kate Mascara Base for extra oomph. I've never tried the Loreal one but if it produces the same effect then I just may have to give it a try to see! I love trying out different kinds of makeup haha. In fact, the Diorshow one tends to dry up quickly too. The reason I retired the Shu was because when I was living in Cambodia, the formula dried up too quickly but I really can't say if it's because of the weather or the new formulation. My eyelashes are relatively quite thick already but the length could be better haha.
    I like me.

This is a sad, sad world. When the US interferes with international issues, it gets bashed in the face. When it decidedly keeps its mouth shut, people wants it to say something.

Why would anyone use such a complicated character for the name of a type of noodles?

The noodle is only eaten by the Emperor?

Imagine you want to write 'I love Biang Biang noodles.'

    Excerpts from wikipedia
The most complex Chinese character still in use may be biáng (pictured right, bottom), with 57 strokes, which refers to Biang biang noodles, a type of noodle from China's Shaanxi province. This character along with syllable biang cannot be found in dictionaries. The fact that it represents a syllable that does not exist in any Standard Mandarin word means that it could be classified as a dialectal character.
