Facebook spam ?

Recently I received several messages from friends on Facebook with SPAM content. The content of the messages was nothing more than a link to a hazardous website; however, they came from my friend's account. Does this mean the spammer actually hacked into my friend's account?

Yes. Either that or your friend is the spammer.

Your friend's account could have been hacked into. Or your friends computer could've acquired a key logging trojan. The hacker would then retrieve his user pass via trojan.

Most likely the latter bcuz it's more common that users arent up to security but Facebook prolly got good security measures.

Your friend should maybe clean his system or reformat and change his facebook pass.
