TVB just doesnt do wuxia anymore. the ones they attempt are really bad. all they do is family drama and comedy stuff.

TVB has not done wuxia since Jin Yong pulled the plug on them in 2000 due to his displeasure with HSDS 2000 (and who could blame him, considering the travesty that series was). Although TVB could do other, non-Jin Yong wuxia, it probably decided that without the Jin Yong canon, continuing to do wuxia wasn't worth it...especially as a wuxia series probably requires three to five times the budget of a typical family drama or comedy series.

But TVB has been steadily going down the tubes since the 1990s, and has basically been living off the legacy of its 1970s/1980s achievements. It's been a long, sad, steady decline that has been going on for at least twenty years now.

theyve done some wuxia, just not very known ones. twin of brothers and face of fate comes to mind. there are quite a few other ones.
