    Default Visual fortran

I need a fortran compiler for my xp since the programme codes were written for Fortran 77 on windows 98 or something old. Then someone suggested Intel visual fortran. Does anyone know what that is? Fortran 90 or 95 or another version? Can the intel visual fortran run on centrino?

Fortran O.O?? That's a pretty old compiler isn't it? But rather sturdy! Quite similar to Boland C++, no?

If my memory serves me, Intel visual fortran is aline version with the Fortran gang. But Intel visual fortran is a more powerful version of the old fortran.

What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

It's ancient but the engineering fraternity uses it. The later version Fortran 90 etc have many differences. The intel webpage kept saying visual fortran without describing it. I'll try the link, thanks.
