Episode 20 - Angela pretends to be a housewife to make Homer happy

Homer avoided Angela chasing him for the debts, Mai Lai helps him, Mai Lai sees Homer’s pants ripped, told him to take it off to let her repair it, at this time, Angela rushed in, mistaken them to have an ambiguous relationship, immediately left angrily, everyone mistaken the two to have an affair. Mai Lai suddenly received her ex-boyfriend, Juin Mun’s attorney letter, needs Mai Lai to return the apartment and chased her to give him seven years of rent. Mai Lai was surprised and mad, she honestly said Juin Mun back then used his mouth and promised her the apartment is given to her. She doesn’t understand why he will suddenly ask her back for it. Ben represented Mai Lai to negotiate with the opposing lawyer, it turns out the opposing lawyer was Vincent, it turns out the opposing lawyer was Vincent and Vincent doesn’t make any concessions everyone was upset with him, Jessica mistaken Vincent to have a new girlfriend, was greatly disappointed, but Ben thinks Vincent being able to forget the past is a good thing.

Juin Mun greatly compliments Vincent that he does what he said, but Mai Lai an everyone hates Vincent thinking he does not know the difference between good and bad.
Angela decided to work harder to get Homer, Jessica and Ah Ling urged her to be a housewife, help Homer cook and knit clothes. Ah Ling asked Ben to ask his mother to make a scarf, Ben agreed. Angela helped Homer do chores, Homer wants her to help him do feet massage, Angela bears the smell and helps him massage. Ah Ling accidentally finds out Ben helped her knit, was greatly touched, she continuously thinks about all the things he did for her.

Episode 21 - Ah Ling begins to fall in love with Ben

Ben gave the knitted scarf to Ah Ling, afterwards, Angela asked her for it, but Ah Ling didn’t want to give it to her, secretly, she hid it for herself. Ben’s good friend, Yaow Fai, because of seven years ago’s failure to rape, killed the victim, a student name Mai Bo, and sentenced to lifelong imprisonment, Yaow Fai calls Ben from prison, said he found some news about the real murderer, asked Ben to help him reopen his case. Ben found information on the case, Jessica volunteered to help on this case, found out that the only witness for this case happened to be Ah Ling. Homer sees Angela being obsessed with him, decided to pretend to be dirty to scare her off, Angela was loathing, then she sees Ming Git, Ming Git has elegant bearing, Homer was cannot compare to him, decided to forget Homer and get back together with Ming Git.
Ben accompanied Ah Ling to Mai Bo’s grave, Ah Ling told him how she saw Yaow Fai kill Mai Bo, because of that, she especially hates defency criminals. Ben sees Ah Ling having a cold, sent her home and gave her his jacket. Ah Ling was touched to her heart, Ben finds out from an informer that at the setting the case took place at, there was another stain of blood from a third person, that night, there is a possibility of another person being there, but at that time, no one brought this issue onto the court, Ben used that reason to reopen the case.
Ah Ling met up with Ben and gave him a pair of new shoe with wheels (made that up, don’t really know what those shoes are really called), but Ben told her he is going to reopen Yaow Fai’s case, Ah Ling was furious, thinks Ben lied to her. Ben persisted to investigate the truth, didn’t want to give up justice and axiom because of their personal relationship, Ah Ling thinks her friend died innocently, needs to punish the murderer, and she was upset with Ben. Jessica urged Ah Ling to think from Ben’s perspective but Ah Ling was mad at her for helping Ben to his this from her. Ben placed the reason about the third stain of blood on the court, the judge accepted it and approved the reopening of the case. Ah Ling purposely took a vacation to avoid Ben. Ming Git gave Ah Ling the court’s subpoena, needs her to go on court to be the witness again.

Episode 22 - Ben successfully reverses a verdict

Ben encouraged Yaow Fai to reopen the case, thinks there is a chance to help him clear his name. On the court, Ben asked Ah Ling to go on court for questioning, Ben points out Ah Ling heard from Mai Bo before that Yaow Fai has unrequited love for Mai Bo, this made Mai Bo feels burdensome, which made Ah Ling to have a bad impression on Yaow Fai. In addition, the murderer coincidentally has a similar big nose like Yaow Fai, therefore, Ah Ling mistaken Yaow Fai to be the murderer. Ah Ling’s mood was uncontrollable, the judge announced for a temporary rest on court, Ah Ling says Ben is mean, and poured a cup of water at his face. Jessica sees herself to be helpless to help her good friends, used boxing as a way to release her anger. Afterwards, she bumped into Vincent, Vincent asked her out to watch a movie, Jessica accompanied him, Vincent brings her home, Jessica was touched.
Angela cannot forget Ming Git, she went to look for him, in the end, she got back with him. Ben’s family were saying bad words about Yaow Fai’s witness, Lok Ai pointed out that the witness is Ah Ling, now everyone finally understand why this case was so difficult for Ben. Ben decided to try his best to find evidence. Ben found out where the suspect, So Pao is with the help from the police, Ben went to the bar to look for him, with Jessica’s help to make So Pao faint, Ben took his blood to do a DNA examination, proved that the third stain is So Pao.
Ben brought this out on the court and told Ah Ling to pick between some photos of different people’s big noses, Ah Ling picked the nose that is not Yaow Fai but So Pao, this, the court sentenced Yaow Fai innocent. Ben helped his good friend clear his name, greatly happy, but Ah Ling accused a good person to be in prison innocently for seven years, she felt horrible inside, Ben comforted her, but Ah Ling was still depressed. The police arrested So Pao, asked Ah Ling to recognize the person, at the police station, Ah Ling and Ben saw Vincent. Vincent happened to be So Pao’s defending lawyer. Ah Ling angrily rebukes Vincent, who knows So Pao is the real murderer and he is still helping him defend, but Vincent was only doing his job. Everyone sees Vincent to have changed, was greatly upset with him, except Jessica, Jessica helps him say good words but it was useless.

Episode 23 - Ah Ling finds new clues

Ben asked Ah Ling to have dinner with his family and Yaow Fai, Yaow Fai was late, Ah Ling mistaken that he doesn’t want to forgiver her, after, Yaow Fai arrived with Ah Ling’s favorite sweet potato and said he already forgot the past, told Ah Ling to not be offended, Ah Ling felt better. On the court, Vincent helps So Pao defend, strongly attacked Ah Ling’s words, everyone was upset, only Jessica supported him. Ming Git told Ah Ling to clearly think back about what happened that night Mable was murdered and go through every little details. Ah ling thought but this caused her to have nightmares every night, she couldn’t find any new clues for the case. Ah Ling brought out courage and went to the scene the case took place at to find clues, when she was thinking, she bumped into Ben, the two went down the mountain with no clues, Ah Ling was thinking so hard that she nearly got hit by a car, and in a flash of light, she remembered that there was a car, and a driver in a tuxedo.
The police received the clue and went to find So Pao’s old driver, he retold what happened that night, when So Pao came back from the mountain, his hand was bleeding and he was holding the same knife that killed Mable. Ben and Jessica know there is new clues, thinks with this there is a chance of winning the case. Jessica went to practice boxing and bumped into Vincent, Vincent asked her out for a drink, Jessica was excited, accidentally told Vincent that they found a new clue about the driver, Vincent knows fairly well what to do now.
Vincent told So Pao, So Pao hinted that he wants to kill the driver, Vincent yields with a show of reluctance, he went to the driver to try to persuade him into not going on court, but was rejected, at this time, Ben arrived, saw Vincent obstructing the justice, greatly urged Vincent to stop, do not continue to do wrong things, but failed, the two argued. Ben was mad at himself for getting Cheuk Fan into prison, causing Vincent to do wrong things and going on a wrong path, Ah Ling comforted Ben. Jessica went to questions Vincent and asked him is he was using her all along, Vincent told the truth, Jessica lost love for him. ON the day of court, Ming Git urged Ah Ling to not go on the court for questioning, so that Vincent cannot attack her words, focusing on the driver. Ah Ling agreed.

Episode 24 - Vincent guns down So Pao

On the court, Vincent attacks Ah Ling’s memory to be a non-reliable witness, Ming Git asked the driver to go on court for questioning, then, news was brought onto the court saying the driver’s home is on fire, he died in the fire, Ben was surprised and angry. Vincent felt uncomfortable. The jury sentenced So Pao innocent, everyone was disappointed and upset with Vincent, even the only one that often trusts him, Jessica, was upset. Also, Ben told the police to arrest Vincent for obstructing the justice, Vincent was caught. On the day of court, Jessica couldn’t bare to point out Vincent knew the driver was a witness, the judge only had Ben’s words to judge from, Vincent was sentenced innocent. Vincent escaped the crime and had no regrets. Jessica slapped him and surely lost the love for Vincent.
Mai Lai changed her appearance because Homer got his license back. Homer asked Mai Lai out for dinner to thank her. Mai Lai arrived dressing in a fancy dress, Homer gave her a long-term service gold medal, and said he treats her as a part of his family, in his whole life, he only loved his ex-wife, Ah Gwun. Mai Lai knows she has no chance, agreed to help him get Ah Gwun back.
Ben, Ah Ling, Jessica and Ah Leng went to the amusement park to relax. Jessica told Ah Ling that she has no feelings for him, urged him to work hard and try his best to be a positive person. Ah Leng decided to study law and become a lawyer. Because of being afraid of heights, Ah Ling was afraid to go on the Ferris wheel even though it was her dream to go on it. Ben accompanied her to go on it and told her about his love for her. When Ben went to buy a drink for Ah Ling, So Pao sent someone to threaten Ah Ling. Ah Ling was startled and was sent to the hospital. Vincent went to the hospital to visit her, he saw everyone inside Ah Ling’s room and was afraid to go in. Jessica saw him, she urged him to stop helping So Pao. Vincent felt bad for implicating Ah Ling, Cheuk Fan urged him to stop doing wrong things and begin doing right things, or else, he would break the father and son relationship between them. Ben also urged Vincent, agreeing to help him and believes in him. Vincent decided to punish So Pao according to law, went to find Victor to be a witness to go against So Pao. Before he went, he called Jessica to apologize, but Jessica was unavailable to pick up the phone. Vincent couldn’t find Victor, So Pao appeared instead, he said to Vincent that he kidnapped Jessica and threatens to rape her. Vincent was worried and anxious, so he killed So Pao.

Episode 25 - Vincent escaped the attempt murder crime (Grand Finale)

After Vincent killed So Pao, he received a phone call from Jessica. So Pao was lying to him all along. Vincent was arrested, Ben helps him defend, from Vincent’s truthful eyesight, Ben can tell he is not lying and decided to help him escape this crime. Jessica knows Vincent killed someone for her. She was touched and worried at the same time. Ah Ling suspected Vincent’s words, Jessica and Ah Ling begin to argue, the two separates angrily. Jessica visited Vincent, she knows Vincent wanted to apologize to her. She thinks he is innocent. Ah Ling and Jessica reconciled, the two and Ben went to find clues. Ah Ling went on court to be a witness saying So Pao threatened her before, but she was rebuked by the prosecutor saying she is not a reliable witness having prejudice against So Pao. Jessica also helped Vincent defend, she said Vincent just wanted to protect her. Vincent defended himself by saying he has been going on the wrong path in the past, lost his family and friends, to protect his close ones, he wanted it to punish So Pao himself according to law. So Pao said he kidnapped Jessica, he was worried about her so he killed him. The jury sentenced him innocent in the end, everyone showed great joy.
Because of obstructing the justice, Vincent’s lawyer license was stopped, he was about toe leave the firm but Homer invited him to be an advisor. IN addition, everyone accepted him now and he decided to stay the firm in the end. Mai Lai brought Nancy back, Homer was filled with great joy, Mai Lai told Nancy why Homer divorced with her in the past, Nancy understood, she decided to get back together with Homer. At this time, Angela and Ming Git came in holding hands and congratulated everyone.
Vincent was touched by Jessica’s long-term support and love, he told her about his love for her. He also send a SMS message tot her about his love and agreed to learn boxing in order to match her. Ben wore the shoe with wheels and held the female version of it to find Ah Ling, the two forgave each other and became a couple. When the two were playing with their shoes, Vincent and Jessica arrived with the same shoes, the four plays together., everyone ends happily.
