    Default MP3 vs. CD format

    Amazon.com sells the album that I want in both formats. I will be playing it using my car audio player. Seems logical that the CD format would give a better sound. Right?

    MP3 is a lossy format so yes CD is always better. If I were you, I'd buy the CD and then encode it into MP3.
