I thought we would have more sweet moments between Tang Yan and Roy, but the woman from Roy's past shows up in episode 16 (or was it 15?) already! She's already making a dent in their relationship Ugh. I hate these complicated love triangles.

I'm so proud of myself for getting so far into a modern drama. Xia Jia San Qian Jin is really addicting.
I'm totally in love with Yan Li Heng.
And I actually really like the Yan Li Heng-Xia Tian Mei-Yan Ge-Sun Xiao Jing love square, although I didn't expect to. They've managed to avoid cliches and psychotic behaviour, although I can't say the same for the love triangle around Hao Tian.

I don't like Xiao Jing either, but I just can't bring myself to hate her. She's a bit of a Blair Waldorf personality, if you know what I mean. And she's not a psychopath like You Shan. And I love her actress.

Xiao Jing....I've read the episode summaries for the second season and she's a chronic liar. I get so pissed at her. Especially because I'm really just watching this series for GeMei and Li Heng *drools*.

I don't think I've watched enough of the You Shan triangle to fully understand her madness. But at least I understand why she does the things she does. From her (scarred...ish) childhood to being in a rich family....it gives somewhat of an explanation for her psychopathic methods. As for Xiao Jing...RAWR. okay I'm done hating. XD

But Xiao Jing also has had more of a scarred childhood than You Shan. And You Shan has killed a person and tried to kill another one. Xiao Jing could easily cut Yan Ge's grandmother's wire and kill her, but she's not a murderer like You Shan.

I guess so. I mean, I think the main reason I can't stand her is because she gets in the way of GeMei, whereas I don't really care about Zhen Zhen and Hao Tian. XD

As much as I like Tian Mei in My Daughter, I can't bear to watch 80 episodes. I'm only on 28, and am already really frustrated with You Shan and Hao Tian's story. He just seems so oblivious to You Shan's schemes and it's exhausting to watch her get away with her evil plots.

It could be for a new drama. She's just started to film 爱情睡醒了 (Love Has Been Awakened) with Roy Chiu, a modern drama about flash marriages (i.e. a couple getting married after knowing each other for a few months...something like that).

Anyway, hair extensions are so widely available, so I'm sure we will see her back to long hair in no time.
