It's nice you ignored the second half of CC's point: it's very possible that the first fight between ZWJ and XF could end in 2-3 stances.

I'm not hellbent on XF taking out ZWJ within 5 stances; in fact if ZWJ takes the fight seriously and defends the entire time, it could take a while. The point is that they ARE NOT on the same 'level.'

Further, if ZWJ would lose to every other ROCH Great, he isn't on their level either

He's marginally lower, as the ranking I have set up reflects.

Well it doesn't matter what anyone says anymore.

To you ZWJ isn't ROCH Great level.

To pretty much anyone else that doesn't have blatant bias against HSDS, he is.

To you Xiao Feng is on another level than the ROCH Greats.

To many others, Xiao Feng may win against some of the Greats but he is still on the same tier as them, the same level.

In the end your subjective opinions will of course rule your objective rankings lol!

3. Just because I think he would lose to most of the greats does not indicate he is of a lower tier than a Great. They ARE the same level. That is all I'm saying. Who wins or loses doesn't matter.

1. My subjective statements were meant to be taken as such. They were never presented as anything else. I'm not hiding my distaste for HSDS.
2. Of PJ's 15,000 posts, 14,500 are off-topic, extraneous, or completely idiotic
3. You can't possibly believe that 'who wins or who loses' is irrelevant! Winning and losing is THE ENTIRE POINT.
4. Again, Lev's arguments are comparing peak feats, which again, DO NOT APPLY TO ZWJ since he chokes/loses to everybody throughout the book. It's not MY fault that JY decided that ZWJ must fail repeatedly. If anything, you can blame the author.

The undisputed Greatest Martial Artist in Jin Yong's books has a different point of view.

I think all the Greats came to the same conclusion when they got older. Except for Ouyang Feng, who was, y'know, insane.

Just as Xiao Yuanshan and Murong Bo was driving themselves insane and to an early death.

Ranking, speculating on who is better; this is all just fun and games. Let's not take it too seriously.
