Most widely reviled Jin Yong character: Gwok Fu or Mit Jeut See Tai?

I personally had tocast my vote for gou fu. mei jue may have been a stuck up old b^&*%, but she has her redeaming features to her.. . .. .the few of which can be found in the defend mei jue thread.

Gou Fu on the other hand was just plain sickening, she was spoiled,stuck up,hateful,greedy,jealous,self-centered,and the list goes on and on just i can't find the right adjectives.

gwok fu repented to some degree. also, at the end of roch, gf was still somewhat young yet she matured. we really don't know how much more she matured later on in life, but at least we know that she lost her life for her nation. mjst on the other hand created a monster out of zzr and spent the majority of her life hating everything. we got a glimpse of what she was like as an older woman and she was still unreasonable.

i'm hoping that gf became a better person as she was surrounded by love, especially since she lucked out and married such a good guy. didn't she also apologize to yg later on? anyhow, gf was spoiled and mean as a teenager, but as roch evolved, we saw gf evolving somewhat. mjst continued to stay a stubborn and nasty nun.

I hate neither. I think they both are ok.

Xie Xun, Cheng Kun, Ren Zhi Ping, Lin Ping Zhi, Gon Sun Zhi, and ect... are way worse. For lady, Madam Ma and Ah Zhi of DGSD are much worse.

Hmm to be fair, we didn't exactly see how MJ was like in her youth. She could have been really sweet and demure in the past, before something caused her to flip out to become the MJ that we know.

Guo Fu never did anything quite as despicable as hunting down the little Yang Buhui. The Kunlun couple also get marked down for this, with additional demerits for He Taichong's ingratitude. The trick of using little children as a device to direct sympathy for their protectors and hatred for their persecutors always works.

Whether or not that's right or wrong is one thing, but it's eminently true. People don't get up in arms over Sing Kwun or Gung Sheun Tze the way they do about Gwok Fu or Mit Jeut See Tai.

Nor do I, to tell you the truth. While I don't necessarily approve of everything each of these two characters have done, I do kind of get *why* they did some of the things they did.
