Patrick Swayze had just past away from pancreatic cancer. He was battling this cancer for 20 months. He will be missed.

Yeah. He passed away this Monday after battling Stage IV of Pancreatic cancer.

I read that Patrick's wife, Lisa Niemi was a student of his mother, a dance coordinator/instructor. Patrick was 18 and Lisa was 14/15. They dated and five years later they got married. They've been married ever since. Both husband and wife are dancers. He didn't have to learn to dance for the roles where he danced a lot in the movie. He knew how to dance, act, and I read somewhere he sings too. Though I never heard him sing before. I'm just surprised when they've married for so long, but they never had any children together.

I saw a clip on the Today Show where in 2008, he made a surprise appearance and danced with a fan of his. He really lead her through the dancing and she was impressed. From the short clip, he seems like a really nice guy.

It turns out the only movie of Patrick that I've seen is Ghost. All this time I got Patrick confused with Kurt Russell.
