    Default wacky injuries

Today I cut myself in the bathroom at work. There's this translucent rectangularly shaped towel stand that juts out (with sharp edges). So as I was absentmindedly fixing my hair, I cut myself on the edge of that stand. There's now a bloody inch long gash on the back of my forearm LOL.

On Sunday I pulled a butt muscle playing tennis... my legs feel fine after running around, but my butt hurts LOL!

Any recent wacky/embarrassing injuries to share?

I once dropped off some paper into a waste bin, and got a huge cut as I was walking away from it. I'm still trying to figure out what part of the thing could be that sharp.

i was shutting the kitchen window.. it slides sideways so.. normally it gets kind of stuck and i have to jerk it really hard.. so i figured i'd pull pretty hard to get it moving.. BAMMM! right pinky got smashed! the skin ripped apart and blood just splattered onto the window and my shirt. i stood there frozen. pain and shock. didn't know what to do for a good 5 seconds. my finger was numb for a good day after i bandaged it up. i'm still feeling the pain right now. the skin however is sticking back onto the finger so i hope it reconnects itself?

and a question... am i sadistic? i was laughing after the shock went away. i thought i should cry but i ended up laughing?

Last year I was opening the door, and my toe was in the way. 90% of my big toe nail came off.

I tend to injure myself more often in the kitchen than anywhere else. On one occasion, I was grating some carrots and I grazed my right middle finger as a result. Then on the following night, I somehow managed to cut my right thumb while I was opening a tin of tomatoes. The wound was deep and rather painful. My right hand was effectively useless b'cos of those cuts. Then the day after that, I cut my left finger whilst grating as I was not left handed.

This morning, I woke up and yawned. My legs stretched out, my foot bent downward, and I overextended my calf LOL. It felt like my tendon would rip off the bone for a few seconds. Now it still hurts.

Not the first time the same injury has happened the same way, either. Laughable.
