with today's prostetic arms, loosing both arms doesn't = can't do anything, in fact, the replacement arms are atleast 50% as good as the regular ones, they can do all task, just slower (and some task much slower).

Are they really that good? Probably depends on how much of the arm was lost?

Anyway, it will be very difficult. Don't know about hypotheticals but I once heard that in China, 50% of husbands leave their wives after mastectomy.
