I think the Celtics knew they were in trouble when Derek Fisher hit that three-point shot to tie the game at 64. Generally, when D. Fish hits a clutch three late in a close game, the Lakers win. The Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, and Orlando Magic are just a few examples of Fisher's previous victims.

I dunno how he does it, that dude got balls of steel, he can miss the whole game, but when he's open he's gonna chuck it lol.

A three-headed monster...but to win it all, they'll need to learn how to play defense.

That's an insane combo, but I would not put them over LA or even Orlando just yet. Reason being, they will have 5 guys under contract after they sign the big 3 lol...no pg, no centre....and next to no cap space left..although they will most likely move Beasley. If they can fill out the roster, then ya..they will be dangerous. But a healthy LA still matches up very well with them and more importantly we have two very talented bigs..so ya..not too worried atm. Honestly, I think the bulls with boozer and bron would have been a much tougher team, not sure how well bron and wade will play together...

Anyone catch the LBJ backlash? lol.... that was a bad way to rip out the heart of cavs fans. Could have at least let them know ahead of time (although he claims he made up his mind the morning of the decision date). Don't hate bron for the decision but feel bad for cleveland, yet another slap in the face the city has to deal with.

Maybe *next* year. Phil Jackson needs to get his retirement championship first.

Let Phil get his twelfth, and then the Bulls can run wild if they want.

Bulls are on a roll. Celtics are not scary anymore. Miami is a threat, but they might not make it past the Celtics. The Lakers aren't playing well and Kobe will shoot them out of a championship. Artest won't be able to bail him out like last year. Bynum is a beast, though.

Big reset button coming up with playoffs.

Many a young team has looked promising in the regular season, only to run up against a hard wall of reality come playoff time. The game is different during the playoffs. The Bulls have proven nothing yet.

    Celtics are not scary anymore.
Trading away Kendrick Perkins was a mistake that the Celtics will regret.

Miami is a threat, but they might not make it past the Celtics.
When the Celtics had three centers (Perkins and the two O'Neals), probably not.

The Celtics are basically down to *no* real centers now, so maybe...maybe the Heat can take them.

The Lakers aren't playing well and Kobe will shoot them out of a championship.
Like we haven't seen the Lakers do this before...

The wise teams aren't letting these brief doldrums lulling them into the belief that the Lakers are vulnerable.

Artest won't be able to bail him out like last year.
They won't need it. Of the past four seasons, this is probably the best playoff-equipped iteration of the Lakers.

    Bynum is a beast, though.
He's finally healthy, for a change. He'll probably be the difference-maker this season.

This year's playoffs are wide open. I still can't guess who'd win conference titles let alone the championship.

I'm nowhere close to being a Lakers fan, but I felt bad for them today.

In other news, how inspiring is Rajon Rondo? Seriously, this kid has so much heart it's insane.

Lakers are losers. They proved that yesterday.

Rondo is a punk who benefits from playing with 3 future HOF (4 including Shaq, but he's not really useful now). We'll see how good he is once those 3 are too old to be effective.
