Well done to Boston for making it a series but i still think the Lakers will pull it off. Lakers must or else i reckon that Kobe's legacy will be tainted slightly with a conversion rate of 4/7 tries.

Let's see who else steps up for the Fakers. Looks like Bynum should've had his surgery when the postseason started. They could really use him healthy now.

Ken dear, at least be mature enough to call them by their real name. Don't stoop down to the level of others and give the Laker fans a bad name

man, this series sure has highs and lows. game 1, depressing. game 2, joy! game 3, depressing, etc. i hope the celtics are good and angry for game 7.

I think it comes down to home court advantage. Ironically, had the Cavaliers or Magic (the Lakers' projected Finals' opponents before the playoffs) come out of the East, the Lakers would not have had home court against either of them.

Lakers win the NBA finals by 4 points

I think this is like one of the lowest scores ever in a final game. Both teams were having a tough time getting their offence going but at least there were great defence and hussle shown by both teams... Great comeback by the Lakers after being down by 10 points in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah...they're setting it on fire again, like they do every time the Lakers win the title.

Congrats to the lakers, it was a well played game. Kobe didn't perform just as I expected, it was all Gasol and Artest.

Woot!! one of the most exciting games i've ever watched if you take the magnitude of the game into account... I think this is the first game 7 finals game i've ever cared about..lol

totally wrong bout ron!!! he showed up when it mattered and when LA needed him the most...

the fourth Q was easily the best Q of defense i've seen LA play all year..they showed toughness that i was afraid they didn't have....well deserved win

Phil has 2 come back for one more...three-peat-repeat 4 kobe...i'd also love for the diesel 2 finish his career off with the lakers if he does not go 2 dallas. I've been a shaq fan since 92 when he tore down the backboards..and i've cheered for all the teams he's played for since leaving LA...hated the way he left the lakers and all the shite talk back and forth...its only right that he finishes his career with a ring or two with the lakers!!!

props 2 celtics...they beat the two best teams record wise in the L and then took LA 2 the brink....

Definitely an exciting one...for Laker fans anyways. I bet a lot of people were having heart attacks in that 3rd quarter when they were down by 13. It looked as if they were on the verge of another breakdown.

It looks like 2010 was the Laker's year of redemption (first Sun then Celtics...so Detroit next year?)

But the best individual story of the finals is definitely still Artest. Not only has he finally put the Ariza vs. Artest debate to the grave, but he fulfilled his promise from back in 2008 (after Game 6) when he told Kobe that he won't let it happen to him again. And game 7 perfectly fits the storyline. On a night when Kobe and Gasol couldn't get it going in the first 3 quarters, Artest carried the Lakers. And finally, after a season of driving Laker fans nuts with his 3 point shooting, he delivers the final dagger 3 to Boston's hearts. That's a Hollywood story right there (Conspiracy Theorists would probably call it too perfect a story that the outcome must've been tampered with)

I wish, but I don't see the Detroit Pistons getting into the Finals again for at least a half decade.

The Lakers owe the Pistons two ('89 and '04), and the Chicago Bulls one ('91).

LeBron should sign with the Bulls so we can beat them. =D

Now that's a storyline...the year that Kobe demolishes Jordan's old team AND Lebron
