Default Anyone looking for a job in Boston?

The place I work at is looking for an experienced (5+ years) application developer proficient in C# in the Boston/MA area. The candidate has to be authorized to work indefinitely in the U.S., and has to have a degree in C.S., Math or Engineering.

We're are also looking for a MS SQL server DB with 3+ years of experience with similar qualifications, and there's a business development position as well.

The company itself is a quantitative asset management company that specializes in global and emerging markets. It's small in terms of headcount with only 92 or so people but has been fairly stable in the financial meltdown.

Ashame it's not in Houston. I know a few experienced programmers over here that are looking.

And too bad it's not in NYC. I wouldn't mind moving to a bigger city. Heh.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

My friend is going to Pharm school near Boston. He tells me it's boring... or maybe it's just him who is boring. *shrugs*

lemme guess, MCP? boston is as interesting as you want it to be. there's plenty to do if you want to exert yourself. i'd think people would find it a lot more interesting that houston. we're a lot less spread out.

I feel this way at times but outside of the West Coast or maybe Atlanta there aren't many attractive places to go and work in the U.S. The South and the Mid West are definitely out.

Over the last couple of years I've filled out enough forms dealing with immigration that I doubt I would bother going international.
