i know it was bound 2 happen..but it still hurts...so many fedor haters(aka tuf ufc fans) out there praying for this. Dana White is a total douche....

Fedor slowing down a bit compared to his pride days. Everyone forgets because of the brutal way he KO'd arlovski, silvia and rogers but he seems to be just looking for the one big punch and he's not quite as tenacious with his take downs and gnp as before. But imo still a top 3 p4p'er. Werdum is a mundials and adcc champion and this is the first time fedor made a mistake he could not correct. He got a little to eager to finish the fight ...but honestly fedor is one of the few guys who can pound a guy out in his opponents guard..ive seen him do it time and time again and this time he paid for it. Props 2 werdum..class act and awesome fighter...def was not luck...the guy was saying earlier in the week that he's been watching alot of fedor footage and that he was sure that he would catch him with a submission in the first.

I really would prefer a fedor werdum 2 rather than werdum ovreem..as unfair as that would be 2 ovreem. Coker seems to be leaning that way as well so just keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm not a big fan of immediate rematches. Fedor's caught alot of guys punching him from inside his guard. Against elite level BJJ, It's not surprising it happened to him. But his post fight comment is just badass.

Cung Le, holy shit. When he starts to use his hands together with his feet, he looks unstoppable. Even at 39 years old. I was a bit dubious when he started the fight with his hands, but he sure did it well.

It was like, knock Smith back, Smith goes into desperation super combo mode. Cung Le waits till his super bar runs out, then runs in and finishes him.

This Fedor fight reminds me of the first Lesnar/Mir encounter...who knew the best thing that happened to Werdum was leaving the UFC...

I feel sorry for the fighters that they greatly damage their bodies during the fight and get so little in pay. They surely deserve way more than what they get. Start up fighters get as little as $3000 per fight. Giving the nature of the fight, start up fighters should get at least US$200,000 per fight. It's definitely not worth it to earn so little money for such sacrifice.

Bloody Carwin. You had Lesnar curled over like the dog that he is, and you gassed.

Horrible jitz. But his back is huge, arm triangles are probably easiest for him.

Haha, if only. I'll even settle for a flying triangle attempt.

Promising newcomer Nigel De Jong. Here he is taking out his opponent Xabi Alonso with a perfectly executed flying kick to the chest.

Velasquez is a great fighter. He recovers fast when he got hit and he is good on the ground. He beat up Cheick Kongo very badly on UFC 99 mainly on the ground. However, he is no where close to Brock Lesnar. He should refuse to fight Brock Lesnar. It's better to go after those new comers who are lack of skills and experience. Good luck to him.

Cung Le is a joke if we're talking MMA. He really needs to work on his ground game and also his striking and a lot of it.

The person that you all should look into is Jose Aldo. I think he is the next big thing!
I’m beggin you please, give us one more try

Jose Aldo already IS a big thing, along with Jon Bones Jones.
Cung Le has been working on his ground game, mostly in the way of submission escapes and he comes from a collegiate wrestling background.
