Does anyone have any information about Li Yuan? He was really good in the new Book and Sword. He was also in the Yang with Amy Chan, Huge and Yuan Hong...

Apparently, he plays in the new Forbidden City Cop (probably not a particularly big part, but haven't seen it yet, so I can't really tell).
And he's gonna appear as Meng Yi in 大秦直道 - which I'm greatly looking forward too...

Thanks for the information about his tv series and the link to his blog. I also enjoyed his portrayal of 7th brother in the new Book and Sword. He was both charming and comical - a delight to watch.

I've also seen the trailer of 大秦直道. Li Yuan's role here looks promising. Anyone knows when this series will be released?

As far as I know, the newest rumor is that it might be out next year, but don't take my word for it...

Looks like Meng Yi is gonna be fairly prominent in that series, so Li Dong Xue's fans I guess have a lot to look forward to...:-)

does he have many fans? He is relatively new right? I thought he was awsome in BAS. Loved his character. Maybe I'm weird but some angle he kinda remind me of Vicent jao (the actor in dagger Lee).

Thanks Villa for the information about Li Yuan's series with Yang Mi. I was looking for another of his series after enjoying his portrayal of 7th brother in the new Book and Sword. I went to the link provided and watched a bit of it and was hooked. I bought the dvd and have just finished watching the whole series ( 34 episodes). I enjoyed the series. It is great that Li Yuan plays the hero. Yang Mi has the main role as Xiao Man, the unruly bride. Yang Mi was very cute and the other characters were either very likeable or were those that you would love to hate. I also liked the close relationship depicted between Li Yuan's character and his younger brother, acted by Sun Jian.
