Default Was Jinlun Fawang more powerful than some of the greats?

I have to admit that I have not read the novel. But I did see the 2006 TV adaptation of ROCH by Zhang Jizhong. In one of the fights towards the end we see Jinlun Fawang againt Zhou Botong, Yi Deng, Ying Gu and Huang Yaoshi. In one of the scenes they show Jinlun Fawang take on Zhou Botong and Yi Deng both at the same time and he still manages to hold his own. It finally took a joint effort from Zhou Botong, Yi Deng, Ying Gu and Huang Yaoshi to finally subdue Jinlun Fawang. Did the TV adaptation exagerate the power and skills of Jinlun Fawang? Was he more powerful and a notch above Huang YaoShi, Yi Deng and ZBT since it took a joint effort by these greats to subdue him?

Short answer: Maybe a little, maybe a little.

Long answer: First, Jinlun Fawang was fighting Zhou Botong. They were roughly even, although Zhou Botong didn't dare to receive JLFW's blows head on (instead using Vacant Fist). After Ying Gu jumped in, JLFW got nervous and fled. When he ran away, Yideng jumped him and attacked him (at which time, Zhou Botong and Ying Gu stopped fighting).

After fighting Yideng for a while, he appeared to be at an advantage when Huang Rong, getting nervous, began ordering her eagles to divebomb JLFW. JLFW killed one of the eagles, which infuriated Zhou Botong, who charged in and started attacking again. JLFW pulls out his wheels and does manage to simultaneously block an YYZ attack from Yideng and a Vacant Fist attack from Zhou Botong, then immediately tries to flee.

At this time, Huang Yaoshi jumps in and flicks a pebble at him. By this time, he is totally surrounded. He admits defeat, throwing his wheels to the ground, and all three of them struck at the same time and he collapsed to a sitting position on the ground.

JLFW was alot younger then the original greats, and he was quite equal to them in skills and inner power. so in a long fight, he would get the advantage as they would tire out more quickly.

His internal or power should be noticeably higher. ZBT thought JLFW's palm power to be unfathomable. This is after he fought YG.

Thank you for the link. To me it looks like JLFW was definitely more powerful than HYS, YD and ZBT and in a 1-on-1 combat with them he would definitely win.
