    Ninja Assassin (2009)
    Opens November 25th (wide)

Raizo is one of the deadliest assassins in the world. Taken from the streets as a child, he was transformed into a trained killer by the Ozunu Clan, a secret society whose very existence is considered a myth. But haunted by the merciless execution of his friend by the Clan, Raizo breaks free from them...and vanishes. Now he waits, preparing to exact his revenge. In Berlin, Europol agent Mika Coretti has stumbled upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network of untraceable assassins from the Far East. Defying the orders of her superior, Ryan Maslow, Mika digs into top secret agency files to learn the truth behind the murders. Her investigation makes her a target, and the Ozunu Clan sends a team of killers, led by the lethal Takeshi, to silence her forever. Raizo saves Mika from her attackers, but he knows that the Clan will not rest until they are both eliminated. Now, entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse through the streets of Europe, Raizo and Mika must trust one another if they hope to survive and finally bring down the elusive Ozunu Clan.

eh, training for a movie role doesn't really count. keanu reeves trained for matrix, too. -_-

Training for a movie is probably like training not to get hurt. I doubt it develops the technique that martial arts requires.

Saw it tonight. Good God, now THIS is an action film. Highly recommended unless you can't stomach the nonstop body-slicing and blood-letting.

and may I say, Rain is quite gorgeous in it--in the brief time his body isn't full of bloody cuts anyway.

i was surprised at how much i enjoyed this movie. i really thought i was just going to this for rain, but i ended up laughing so much. it's not funny in normal people's view, but i'm sadistic and like people being sliced up and blood pouring out everywhere.

people, go see this. i promise that you won't be disappointed.

I initially wanted to pass up on this since I know Asian stars always tend to get the crappier movies to star in. However, I've been hearing some rather good reviews about this, so I will go see it.

Hey, this is by James McTeigue, guy who do V For Vendetta.

And produced by this very unfamous and unknown brothers duo called The Wachowski's Brothers. The Matrix Trilogy, ring a bell? duh, haha lol

Just watched it. Many of the audience screamed their way through the movie, which made me think, "Are we watching a horror movie here?" The cynical part of me thought they were Rain fans who didn't expect such a bloody movie.

Rain is surprisingly good in this movie. (I'm not a fan of his, I was mostly there for the slicin' and dicin')

I saw this movie last week and fell asleep during the most exciting and most action-pack part according to my cousin. That just shows how much I liked this movie.
My obsessions: Joy Division, New Order, Bones, The Office.
