I'm working during the morning and early afternoon tomorrow, but I don't really mind. I'm getting $$$ for it, and while that doesn't justify EVERYTHING, is good enough for me...at least for a few hours.

i guess if you are getting overtime, it's great. not so great if you're on salary.

    That would stink!

And I was upset because they cut Christmas Break shorter at my school so I now I have school on my birthday.

I get Thanksgiving off, but I'm working both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Unless you're traveling, Thanksgiving Eve is like any other day. I worked today and didn't think anything of it.

Yeah it kinda sucked when I had to work Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. I got out of working on Christmas Eve by telling my boss that it was against my religion.

We get Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off. It's also an unofficial rule that we can go home at noon on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

same here for the past five years. I just count down at work with the few employees who have to go to work new years eve. I guess at least its double time...
Not sure why companies want employees to work major holidays when year after year people will just call in sick.
