Well, he IS a conservative. Just hardcore and to the far right. But he isn't even close to being extremely rightwing.

but your problem with TC, and the reason all of us disagree with TC, is not because of what you term his "conservative" values, but the fact that he is unwilling to consider facts and arguments against his opinions. so we shouldn't emphasize or simply dismiss him as an extreme conservative, because we would feel the same way about him if he had extremely hippie views.

so instead of saying, TC, you are too conservative, you should be saying, TC, you are a moron/ genius / weirdo / really cool dude.

Actually, my biggest problem is that he’s hardcore conservative. Ignorance of facts and data go hand in hand with hardcore ideology but in TC’s case, he’s hardcore conservative. Referring to him as conservative is appropriate. It doesn’t mean all conservatives are like him. There aren’t many hardcore rightwing folks here. It’s really just TC and another guy, who likes to refer to data as liberal smoke and mirrors.

I can appreciate a difference of opinion (guys like George Will and David Brooks) but when you get into the end of the spectrum on the far right where reason goes out the window, that’s when I can’t stand it.

Agreed. Radicals on either side are prone to ignorance. I mentioned that I think about twice above in my previous posts in the thread. You just didn’t notice it. I am just saying that in TC’s case, he is clearly on the right so calling him a hardcore conservative is not wrong.

Society should be color blind. College admissions should be based on grade, not skin color. If PersonA has higher grade than PersonB but PersonA is unable to get into college while PersonB got in due to skin color, then that is out right racist against PersonA. Society should treat PersonA and PersonB as an individual, it doesn't matter what color they belong to.



If it's ok for 96% of black voters to vote for a black candidate, then it's ok (I don't believe it is the case) for 96% of white business owners to prefer hiring white workers. If they prefer to stick to their own color then don't blame others to do so as well. You can't have it both ways.

I come back to your posts after ignoring you for a while, and see that your idiocy still hasn't been cured. 90% of black voters ALWAYS vote democratic, no matter who the candidate is..... Kerry and Gore and Clinton, etc....all got 90% of the black vote as well, so this argument = EPIC FAIL...as usual.
