Lightbulb Which is more vital for optimum performance - managing time or energy?

In a heavily competitive world that we live in, performance is often the key to success. What do you perceive to be more vital in achieving optimum performance, especially in work?

Time or energy? Or are they both intertwined closely together i.e. one can't work without the other?

I believe managing of time with meticulous planning could be very effective. However, managing energy - physical and mental is crucial as well. Recovery for these energies is essential to ensure that our physical and mental body are ready for challenges.

It depends on the job or goal that you are setting.

Some works better with time and others with energy management.
