Great observation & memory.
I never noticed that... even though I've seen the "Kill Bill" biopic several times. I've also read "Smiling Proud Wanderer" several times and seen several movie and series adaptation several times. The LHC capturing Lady Ning's sword w/ the sheath was always prominent in the series... just like the book. I don't remember seeing it in the Jet Li movie adaptation... since Lady Ning was already completely cut out of it...
