Cool The Legend of Zelda Games

This is one of my favorite video game franchises. Which Zelda games have you played? Which was your first and which is your favorite?

List of Games as of 2009 (multiple releases on different systems for a few titles):
    The Legend of Zelda
    The Adventure of Link
    A Link to the Past
    Link's Awakening
    Ocarina of Time
    Link's Awakening
    Majora's Mask
    Oracle of Ages
    Oracle of Seasons
A Link to the Past & Four Swords
    The Wind Waker
    Four Swords Adventures
    The Minish Cap
    Twilight Princess
    Link's Crossbow Training
    Phantom Hourglass
    Spirit Tracks

    For me:
    First: Link's Awakening
Games played: Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past & Four Swords, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, The Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks
Favorite: Ocarina of Time (the Oracle games are close seconds)

I'm currently about 75% done with Spirit Tracks for the DS. It's so much better than Phantom Hourglass, which I gave up after becoming sick and tired of the repetitive Spirit Tower parts. I will probably go back to it after mustering up some more resolve.

Zelda is an epic game but recently they are milking the series too much. The quality and epic feeling I used to have for this game is gone. They should learn a bit from blizzard, quality over quantity. My favorites are A link to the past and Legend of Zelda.

I think they've done a good job maintaining the quality of the games and injecting fresh ideas into each one. I can't say much for the ones I've never played, but almost all of the others are above average and have generally received good ratings/reviews as well.

I missed the Gamecube phase but i have a wii and just recently picked up the Twilight Princess remake. Looking forward to that

Ocarina of Time was my favorite N64 game but back in the days Zelda II: Adventure of Link rocked my world. It's a 2D scroller but the game was a great challenge with epic bosses and awesome enemies. I still think Zelda II has the best knight fights of all fantasy-based action RPGs.
