Ha ha ha! I'm fine with snow, but I'm talking about snow blizzard of 24". I can't go much of anywhere except by foot. People get tired of shoveling and digging out there car. Too much of any one thing can get you sick of it.

If you had to dig out your car, you'll understand what I mean.

Here, I even took a picture of the cars buried in snow:

I think I know what I want for this year Xmas : a snowblower Nothing fancy, just something small that can do my driveway + sidewalk (I have long sidewalk since I live in the corner).

I'm so glad I don't live in east coast. Where I am now is bad enough for me.

strangely, up north here, we haven't really had any snow. i've only had to shovel twice this winter, i think. only about 6 inches predicted for this storm.

i heard a lot of people in virginia don't even own shovels. is that true? haha, we have multiple kinds. a light shovel if you're shoveling a lot so you don't get tired, a heavy shovel for the ice, and a lot of people have shovels with shorter handles that they keep in their cars just in case.

Girl, I'm going to invest in a shovel once they have them in stock. This winter, all the winter boots, snow boots, shovels, and salt bags are sold out.

With the way things are going, I can't go to work this week. It snowed all night and it's been snowing all day. It's still currently snowing. People are going to take days to recover from this arctic mess. But I'm glad I did some cleaning of the car on Sunday because I wouldn't want to do double the work like some of my neighbors will have to do once this is all over.

They say I'll be getting 12-16 inches not 20. Man, it's so windy out, the wind is howling and snow is stuck to the windows.

so we're flooded up here. my normal crappy 1 hr commute to work turned into a 2.5 hr commute to work bc the roads were flooded and we had to be re-routed. it's still raining.

    poor doggy.

You had to resurrect this five years old thread huh? My cousin up in Boston has gotten 2ft of snow and I hear she's getting another feet of snow. Her backyard deck is completely filled with snow. She can barely get out the back door. They have a snow plow so they're not buried. But a friend up north has taken pics of the the parking lot and the snow has covered all their cars.

I'm just lucky the snow storm has moved a way from where I am.
