1. Each novel starts at 10 points. Either add (+) OR subtract (-) a point, in bold, for a novel. It is not necessary to place alternating votes at this time.

2. You may vote once every 4 turns OR every 30 minutes, whichever comes first; this means that unless 30 minutes have passed since your last vote, you must wait until at least 3 others have voted before you can vote again.

3. Once a novel reaches score of zero (0), it is eliminated from the game and no more votes may be cast for it.

4. To facilitate the tracking of the scores, please cut and paste the ENTIRE LIST of novels in your post (highlighting your addition/subtraction).

5. New Rule effective immediately: The maximum score for any candidate is 60. Once a candidate reaches 60, no more point may be added to it.

Dear SPCNETies, after years of break from the Survivor scene, it's time for a revival of the Survivor Game during this Winter break

Tried and survived have been martial arts, characters, and couples.

... But never have novels been put to the test.

That's why, I propose, we have a Survival of the Wuxia Novels. All novelists' works are welcome to be nominated. We shall pick the most popular titles as game candidates.

Please submit suggestions, feedback, and less known novel titles you'd like to champion.

I don't think I will impose a hard constraint on how many novels per person. I'd rather let the ppl decide which novels get selected.

I think the biggest ELON has to be Yin Yang Sabres. I've known forever that it's a Jinyong novel but I haven't the slightest clues as to what it's about, who's in it, or any single shred of information whatsoever about it, short of there might be something about a pair of sabres.

Actually, Yuan Yang Sabre has been exposed here slightly, mainly thanks to HuangYushi. I mostly remember it for what Laviathan called the walking encyclopedia of wuxia sayings, a man by the name of Zhou Weixin, who preceded many of his thoughts with a wuxia saying that described the situation. http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/showpost...8&postcount=33

The Jin Yong novel that I know the least about is White Horse Neighing in the West Wind.
