Default Man who died after liposuction could be Singapore’s first case

For the first time, I came across such cases. Does any of such cases happened in your country?

If it was about slimming down, why wouldn't he choose slimming centres instead? From the description of the procedure required in Liposuction, I'm under the impression that such procedure takes higher risk than the usual slimming.

    Throw in your thoughts!

What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

I guess liposuction gives you faster results.

Anyway, why is a GP doing liposuction? Shouldn't it be done by a plastic surgeon?

liposuction is more for shaping your body, and if you're an obese, i doubt you can benefit much from the procedure, since there is a limit of how much 'fat' they can take out from the body, and taking too much compromises safety.

If you wanna slim down, exercise and diet is still your best bet. its cheaper too.

ok, this guy obviously went somewhere shady for the procedure. liposuction generally is very safe...if done by a professional. it involves basically shoving a stick into a person's fat. the tip of the stick has a hot part that melts the fat, and the stick is hollow and basically vacuums up the melted fat. it takes someone with a lot of practice to know how much fat to take out, to make the area even, and to avoid puncturing an organ.

it's not for someone obese, and is usually used to take out a little bit from certain areas. liposuction is often used in conjunction with tucks.

you would think a ceo of a company would not be so cheap as to go to some general practitioner who obviously doesn't have enough experience with the procedure.

Due to the negligence and sheer ignorance few patients die without any fault of theirs and so it is always better to opt for a surgeon who is qualified enough to carry out the surgical procedure with ease. So, if you are planning to opt for it then you may look for the best surgeons available online.
