A young Chinese woman made a splash on the Internet recently for saying she wants plastic surgery to look like Hollywood belle Jessica Alba in a bid to get her boyfriend back.
Twenty-one-year-old Xiaoqing posted on China's most popular public forum, www.tianya.cn, claiming that she'd made up her mind to change her look in order to win back her ex, who is incurably infatuated with Hollywood actress Jessica Alba, and was hoping for the sponsorship of a plastic surgery clinic.
Xiaoqing said her boyfriend fell in love with her mostly because she resembled Alba when wearing makeup. He asked her to dress herself up delicately any time she was in his sight, even when sleeping at night.
The man broke up with Xiaoqing about two years ago when she raged against him for forcing her to wear a blond wig - which made her look more like Alba - while shopping one day.
She noted in the post that since she couldn't afford an expensive surgery, an offer from any cosmetic surgery institution would be eagerly welcomed.
The post has so far received more than 1,000 comments and 160,000 clicks since being published on January 12, 2010.
But Jessica Alba was not happy when she heard the news, and she said in response: "I think you should never have to change yourself like that - if somebody loves you, they'll love you no matter what."
A Shanghai-based plastic surgery clinic has reportedly offered to do free surgery on Xiaoqing.

i cant blame the bf wanting Jess Alba. She is like the hottest chick in Hollywood. Its true. But wanting ur girl to look like Alba through surgery is extreme and in a way effed up. And the stoopid girl going under the knife for her now ex bf is quiet crazy esp for a chinese girl or any girl.

if what the chick says is sincere, then i understand why the bf dumped her in the 1st place: she was not pretty to begin with, and in addition, might have been too clingy and silly as well, considering how she's craving a surgery to get the dude back now. if so, being a jessica alba fanatic was possibly just an excuse to break up the dude made up by himself, no boy could be genuinely such obsessed with a celebrity to the point of dumping the girl he loves.

another possiblity is that the chick is just an attention hoe, in which case the whole winning-my-bf-back thingy is merely an excuse to get attention or sponsorship for the surgery. seriously the majority of women today are foxy and manipulative, they know they have the power of the pu$sy, i doubt a girl would go such length over a dude who she knows doesn't love her as she is. i believe this's more likely the case. c'mon the break-up was 2 years ago and young girls tend to move on quite fast, so there's little chance she's still in love with him.
