Senator Brown won because his campaign was based on 'Tea Party' peoples concerns. The Republicans in Congress and the Party organization had better realize this, or they'll be in for a rough time next fall if their candidates don't do the same.
there have been stupid politicians in both parties, just that this one is more in society's mind right now.
and i think it's very important that the "common man" have a voice. you venture into dangerous territory if you class people as intelligent or not intelligent enough to have a say in government. it goes against one of the founding principals of this country, and has cause multiple revolutions in many countries. i don't always agree with certain people's opinions, but i do believe in their right to have those opinions.
and just to put it out there, i'm a republican and i voted for brown.

The foundation of your country is a constitutional republic, which protects minorities from the tyranny of the majority. Since the majority of your countryfolks are dumb arses, it makes sense that you should protect the intelligent by giving them a bigger voice and tell the dumb arses to shut their pieholes.
Brown's win is a good one. Finally someone who at least has some concerns for men's rights is in power in a very misandrist state.

Who'd a thunk it? Some 'moderate' Dems are pushing to extend the Bush tax cuts and saying that raising taxes during a recession might be a bad idea. Wow! Next they'll start drinking tea....
