Default CD -> Wav -> CD -> Wav -> CD: quality degradation?

    Let's say I do this:

    1. Extract a CD track to WAV file
    2. Write this WAV file to another CD #2
    3. Extract this track from CD #2 to a new WAV file #2
    4. Write WAV file #2 to CD #3

By the time CD #3 is created, will there be any quality degradation to the quality compared to the original CD? If so, how much degradation?

You lose audio quality when you compress the file into a smaller format (i.e. mp3) but since WAV files are usually CD-quality, there are no degradation... assuming there was no scratch on the 2nd CD *AND* no compression was done during the ripping process.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
