I thought he lived in Maine.

Anyway, I just bought about 10 books by Stephen King. I am ready to be thrilled.

Is boston a good place (with the right sentiment) to inspire writers?

    Pembie, try Pemberly's Hauntings sometime.

I am of the opinion that no one should be able to tell unless he/she is a friend of yours for there is a vast database of movies and it's a matter of a fact that you're new in here plus none of us in my view is a minder-reader or is able to read you remotely.

Once Were Warriors by Lee Tamahori from New Zealand

I saw this movie when I was about 13/14 and it has stayed with me for over a decade. It's not about imagined or supernatural evils, rather it was about alcoholism, domestic violence, and suicide. Many scenes from that movie really affected me as a preteen. I love movies and am usually inclined towards pure for entertainment films, and I am a serious horror/slasher movie collector. However, none of those movies have ever stayed with me like Once Were Warriors.

Theres this scary asian movie. Not sure what it was, but the girl who died had her head shaved and her pupils white with a small dot in each (yea those contact lenses). I think it was the original (japanese version) Missed Call.

Also, the scariest movie that scarred me till this day is The Ring. I can sometimes pull up that face of the girl. Omfg I get so scared. Sometimes, people use her face as avatars, which makes me flip out. Its disturbing.

If you notice, a lot of hollywood blockbuster scary movies are based off of asian movies. Look at
    Missed Call
    The Grudge
    The Ring (?)
    Mirrors
